What does the Heal Aid do?

Not sure if it's the mod or the leviathan map that's adding this?

AAE adds the Heal Aid in the box. It only works if you've already taken damage. You can use it when your health is lowered, to regain your health (whether or not it's up-to-full, I'm not certain).
