this mod runs okay on my outdated computer. I'm using a i7 4790, 1030 2gb, 12gb ddr3 ram, and really basic ssd with 1080p and theatrum orbis textures/all dlc active. end-year processing times taking up to a minute is supposed to happen with the current release of the mod due to the amount of calculations necessary. if you can upgrade your non-volatile memory to an ssd you should do that, most standard sized laptops give access to hdd sata port location. you might be able to double your laptop's ram if there's panel access for it which is important for a game like this too (look up your laptop model online for maximum supported ram, it's different for every computer).
