gruß Stullenandy mach weiter so
Another suggestion would be an estimation based on water depth. If you're in shallow waters, you can rule out all locations that have deep water.

Alligator
The estimated position accuracy is not based on a coast.
But you can do this manually. Should actually also be thought of in the MOD - it's called "Real Navigation" ;)
The same goes for the depth. If you activate the depth gauge you can also look for the rough depth on the map (mouse pointer) and determine the approximate position.
I hope the difficult navigation is funny and brings some variety to "UBoat"

Yes that's right. The values at the top right of the card must first be overwritten by vanilla values. That doesn't take long in gameplay. Then it should be done. Is the green earth symbol where the measurements are included still there when you remove the MOD?
thx for your report

1. Is it possible to have an option for the odometer reset to be manual? and not automatic on every sextant/estimated position? That or implement 2, one tied to positions like now, and one that the player can reset whenever they want, useful for tracking longer courses in which you check your position a few times.
2. Is it possible to have a note book or the captains log accessible from the map, similar to how the TDC mod has the distance table available? For jotting down notes etc. I know I can use a real world notebook or something, but it would be nice to have notes in the game.
Hi, I have already answered your questions in the normal discussion area ;)
to 1:
In the future, a separate button or a klick on the green world notification will be built in to reset the odometer.
to 2:
It is currently not possible to insert your own notebook. I recommend using the implemented vanilla war diary book in the game, as all the data entered manual here are also saved in the save file.
But thx to switch this on "Bugs and suggestions" area ;)

Thanks for your answer.
I have the BDU convoy reports mod, and I noticed when a report is received, the pulsing red circle is still visible on the map, even tho the convoy label is not. Same with propeller noise reports.
Also, this may be a limit of the game engine, but is it possible to make it so clicking on the world notification or contact notification makes the tool tip stay visible, that would be useful so I can just glance over rather than have to stop what I'm doing to hover over it.
Thanks!
