True music overlapping with zomboid OST?

So when I'm playing and I turn on a casette or a dvd, I often hear the ingame soundtrack at the same time. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

It's not a bug, just how the mod interacts. You can turn off the in-game music in settings while you're listening to music however.
