x* = desired level

Data

Spawn Location: Snow Biomes in various maps, Snow Biome Gen Pt1 (X);
Taming Method: You need to kill one wild Tundra Phoenix for it to drop it's Ashes. With their Ashes in hands, you will need to freeze it (Egg Incubator can also incubate it) until the Phoenix can re-rise, but be aware that it will require a extremelly low temperature for it to reborn.
Breeding: Egg.
Extras: They are different from the normal and Crimson Phoenix. They use Ice based Attacks, also it's inventory can be used to conserve spoilable itens with the same efficiency as a Refrigerator (100x spoiling time), but they can also conserve Nameless Venom, Wyvern Milk, Ambergriss and LeechBlood. While riding the Tundra Phoenix increase the Rider Health Regen Rate and Hyperthermic Insulation.

Moveset:

Left-Click/Right Trigger (Gamepad): Bite;
Right-Click/Left Trigger (Gamepad): Ice Breath;
C/Right Stick Toggle (Gamepad): Claw Attack (harvest most resources);
X+L-Click/LB+RT (Gamepad): Blizzard Blast (30 seconds cooldown).

I'm not seeing an option to make Ice Cubes in my chemistry bench. Am I missing something?

Okay, so for anyone else wondering the Tundra phoenix eats crystal at the moment. Also, my baby one is constantly dying, and healing just enough to not die.

It's eating Crystal at the moment, the Ice Cubes were causing some issues then I removed it temporary. I'll increase the Baby Phoenix inventory to put move Crystals at the same time.

I get you're trying to set the maturation speed to balance out the strength of the phoenix, but, it's so slow people can literally complete a map and go onto doing something else before a single phoenix matures.

I'm at 10% maturation and I've had this bird for probably 2-3 days now. I doubt I'll still be on the Island if playing Ark at all by the time this thing matures. If it's "giga" strength, shouldn't it be closer to a giga in time?

I'll add a custom ini setting for setting maturation.

mine wont let me put crystals in its inv because its too heavy but its not healing enough to stay alive what do i do

I'm doing a system to make the baby Phoenix catch Crystals from the ground, you will only need to throw It on the ground and it will get It from the ground and eat all by himself. I tried adding an entry for the Crystal in the Feed Through, but it bring some problems. In the moment use a Maewing as Through to feed the Tundra babies, or use any of the Maturation Item I added in the mod, after 2-3% Maturation you will be able to add some Crystals in it's inventory.

my thundra phoenix's C skill outright kills its rider im guessing not intended ?
tho im slightly unsure if its a alpha thundra phoenix or a regular one got it from the ashes of a phoenix not a cheat tamed one just to be clear i dunno if ashes from a alpha phoenix is a diffrent species from its normal thundra phoenix so far the mod is very nice other than that one bug also suggest its speed and hp be reduced a bit but dunno if thats because of the mutations you mentioned tho :-) ive only seen the thundra phoenix so far playing on fjordur map atm.

Yeap, the IceFall skill can kill the Rider as well as the Phoenix, along with its bad aim is intended, this skill is hugely strong, so I needed to put some limitations in it to balance its uses, it is to be used in a good altitude to prevent that. As for the Alpha Phoenix, when killed, will reward back the Golden Phoenix Feather (insta-heal item), 1 or 2 saddle blueprints and a Phoenix Ash with 20 mutations, and yes it is the normal one, not the Alpha you get from its ashes. In the next update the Phoenixs, as well as Wyverns, will get stats nerfed a little. And there will be the new Majungasaurus coming in next update.

Im trying to get the ashes from killing my phoenix but it wont drop the ashes. Im playing with PvE settings and friendly fire off, ive killed my phoenix twice, once with SS's tame dino kill gun and by having it fall off the cliff. The phoenix is raised from an Alpha Phoenix's ashes. How do i do this?

It must be adult and flying to drop the ashes. Also in next update it will be breedable, so I ask you to wait until next update. It will be released in the next few days.

Okay, Thanks! yeah they we're on the ground when they died, make sense, i used the Dino Storage's soul terminal to recover the soul so nothing lost, i will wait for the breeding to be out. Keep up the good work!

Hey, I've got a little bit of an issue with the Tundra Phoenix. They seem to be aggroing from really far away. Like -really- far. Further than even the Wyvern. This doesn't happen with any other creature I've encountered ( although I can't say regarding any creatures of this mod, as I've yet to have encountered any other than Tundra Phoenix )
