Atopsu's PvE Weapon Rebalance

Item Changes
Flamethrower
Flamethrower just wasn't dealing enough damage. Wanted to make it more comparable to the Assault Rifle, but sacrifices headshot damage for aoe and burn.
  • Raised damage from 3 to 20 per tick
  • Now uses a flat burn damage formula with a very small max hp bonus
  • Enabled burn to work on bosses

Rocket Launcher
Classic version of the rocket launcher returned, let's blow up some dinos!
  • Enabled item quality

Lance
Wanted to enable the item to let you joust dinos since on a PvE server this item is useless.
  • Raised damage from 2 to 180 per hit and now scales with Melee Damage
  • Hits each enemy once every 3 seconds instead of every half second
  • Does different levels of damage depending on the body part it hits (like projectiles)

Pliers
I wanted to make armor durability more manageable without straight up making it indestructible.
  • Repairs a flat 35 durability
  • No longer requires resources to repair items
  • Can roll quality for extra repair power or durability
  • Is destroyed and removed from inventory after 3 uses, and is no longer repairable
  • No longer requires abberation to learn Engram
  • Uses vanilla resources in place of abberation resources

Spear
Added massive QoL changes. Uses item quality now
  • Renamed to Wooden Spear
  • Same Name Remap
  • Lowered weight to 1
  • Uses durability instead of a chance to break
  • Weapon quality increases durability and damage
  • Redid replication so that spears no longer hit and cause no damage and so that it shows an accurate location when they land for picking them back up
  • Can hit E on thrown spears to manually pull them out of creatures or edge cases where they don't auto pick up.
  • Does different levels of damage depending on the body part it hits (like projectiles)

Pike
This is now an upgraded version of the Wooden Spear
  • Renamed to Metal Spear
  • Same Name Remap
  • Lowered weight to 1
  • Throwable
  • Has all the QoL updates the regular spear has
  • Does different levels of damage depending on the body part it hits (like projectiles)

Flaming Spear
CURRENTLY DISABLED
Due to compatibility issues with the new scripts for the spear crafting a flaming spear would reset your weapon damage and durability back to primitive. This will make a return at a future date when I finish my poisons part of my mod.

I wanted to use this outside of Genesis missions, so I made it happen
  • Added as a normal item, requires Scorched Earth
  • Costs 1 spear 1 propellant
  • Has a 10% chance to break
  • Usable outside of genesis mission
  • Does 30 damage melee with 30% extra over 3 seconds, and the throw does 50 damage with 60% extra over 6 seconds. Enemies can be afflicted with both burns.
  • Throwing and picking it up gives you a normal spear
  • Unequips automatically underwater
  • Does different levels of damage depending on the body part it hits (like projectiles)

Boomerang
Added quality
  • Same Name Remap
  • Weapon quality increases durability and damage
  • Updated for compatibility

Power Glove
THE ENGRAM FOR THIS ITEM HAS BEEN REMOVED. Current power gloves are still usable, but I was able to fix the default spears so this is no longer necessary.

This item exists so that spears and boomerangs can be used with item quality.
  • New item
  • Uses Spears, and Boomerangs as ammo
  • Weapons used with power glove don't break and instead use durability
  • Weapon throws can be charged for up to 3 seconds for up to 2.5x damage and flight speed
  • Can spawn with quality
    Currently bugged. When you run out of ammo it puts you in an awkward animation. Can be fixed by reequipping. Will fix when I get better with dev kit.

Flame Arrow
Not sure why burns on weapons don't work on bosses, but they do now!
  • Now uses a flat burn damage formula with a very small max hp bonus
  • Enabled Burn to work on Bosses

Grappling Hook
  • Grappling Hooks no longer consume the item when shot
  • Added a 5 second cooldown to firing grappling
  • Increased the durability cost on your crossbow when fired

Electric Prod
Reworked the Electric Prod to be an actual late game melee weapon.
Item uses normal durability stats now
  • Attacking with LMB does 100 melee damage with an extra 30% over 3 seconds, but attacks once every 2 seconds.
  • Attacking with RMB does a shock which stuns and causes 8.5x torpor. Uses Angler Gel as ammo for this attack.

Armors
  • Updated all armors to take 1/5 the amount of durability damage when taking damage
  • Armors all cost half as much resources to repair

Spike Walls
Wanted to make spike walls more worth building on a PvE server, and for platform saddle builds.
  • Wood Spikes damage raised to 25
  • Metal Spikes damage raised to 60, and causes a small bleed over 3 seconds

Tek Saddles
Updated Tek Saddles for Rex, Rock Drake, Megalodon, Mosasaur, and Tapejara to scale the damage with quality
  • Drop with Weapon Damage up to 300% just like other Tek Weapons

Grenades & Grenade Belt
Added a Grenade Belt that equips into your Shield slot. This scales the damage of grenades with the Weapon Damage % quality of it.
  • Lowered damage of Tek Grenade from 925 to 390
  • Poison Grenade now creates a gas cloud that deals 32 damage on explosion, and 5 damage every 1 second for 13 seconds. This deals 200% of it's damage as torpidity, and an additional 250% over time.
  • All grenades are now readied in .2 seconds instead of .67 seconds
