I was thinking something like -50% reload speed but +20 damage and explodes when hitting ground also maybe if you hit an enemy twice it explodes?

Those are the most OP weapon stats that are potentially within reason i've ever seen.

Have it be -150 health.

turn the pyro into a one-hit wonder.
I was thinking No afterburn, but does more damage. plain and simple
I would say:
-75% Decreased ammo
-60% Reload speed
+30% Projectile speed
+50% Damage
Enemies knocked back on hit
Damage increases on how far the projectile travels

that sounds so broken its not even funny.

So it has higher base damage, goes faster than flares, knocks the target back, and does more damage if it flies far enough? It's an unholy combination of a better flare gun, the FaN, and the Crusader's Crossbow. Dear god that's OP.

gawd no more damage bonuses on pyro

*Damage increase over distance
*Ennemies hit gets -50% heal from any sources
*No afterburn
+x% projectile speed (I don't know how much)
-33% base damage

At :
-point blank-short range, it would do around 20 damage
-medium range would do around 45 damage
-long range would do around 70 damage

I know it wouldn't make sense since it's a blunderbuss, but when has TF2 ever made sense seriously ?

I think that's pretty balanced.

+Shoots different types of ammo (switch using m3/r)

reduced clip and ammo

Ammo types:
shotgun shells (2-3 bullets per clip, 6 reserved bullets)
Flares (3 reserved flares)
grenades (1 clip, 3 reserved, grenades break on contact with surfaces)

The standard flare gun has fullcrits when you hit a burning player with it. The detonator has minicrits.
Besides, you can use the scorch shot if you want to send people flying from a distance.
or it could be a scorch shot reskin with a diffrent projectile.
