Copyright can be really wishy washy when it comes to the workshop.
But after past MH port mods, there popularity and rough drama behind them capcom has had a keen eye on the ark workshop.
To simply put it, if a mod wishes to be open to the public it can't have MH content [be it ported or there monsters made from scratch]. Otherwise it will be ban hammered fast, and even then private mods aren't even that safe.
I'm surprised that one mod you showed got past such harsh denial, though there companies may be more lenient.

Anyways this isn't the place for copyright talk, my apologies. Though it's annoying to see so many MH requests when ultimately knowing that it can't be done.
