Distillery bug
For those of you who have been getting issues with the distillery model, please post here exactly what happens, when it happens and any other info (Is it permanent, does it happen on loading a save game etc). Also, info on your PC specs (especially graphics card) is appreciated

I've been getting this problem and it happens whenever I start building a distillery, and it keeps going all times, it stops if you go like away from the distillery area, but it's impossible to play since they are usually near your cities, I can't seem to find my pc specs :3 totally lost, so if you could reply? pretty sure I have an AMD graphics card though.

I discovered it happens less frequently if you zoom in. If you zoom in while near your own cities, it is playable.

I am almost sure it is something with the distillery model.

If you aren't going for the vintage distillery, and only want the rum, I think you can replace it with a plantation.

No, you can't. It reverts to Sugar as soon as the distillery is replaced.

Ok. Another bug with the distillery is that automated workers seems to replace them. Even when I have turned off the option.

Same Problem here, the area around the distellery flickers.I tried some things and none of them helped:
-DirectX 9
-DirectX 10/11 (default)
-Windowed mode(both DirectXs)
-Windows 8 mode
I still havent messed with the filters, but it has deffinetly something to do with the model, the flickering starten after i had build my first distellery.

The flickering started after I built the distillery, too. Like, that very turn. I'm playing on a windows 7 machine, and my graphics card is a Radeon HD 8570. I haven't tried loading the save yet; I remembered this was here and came right here to report it. But basically, the turn the disterlly finished, pretty much my whole screen was flickering/flashing.

Are all your drivers up to date?

I think it may be something with the shadows

I believe so but I will check when I get home tonight.

By the way, enjoying the civ! I spawned on a mostly inner see with one narrow channel to the larger ocean. My cities have spread around the sea which I now have dubbed (in my mind) "The Pirate Sea".

Yeah, but it's hard for me to find the issue and fix it, because I don't have an AMD graphics card so the issue doesn't show up for me

My drivers are up to date, if that helps at all?

I have found that when my workers build the distillery or the vintage distillery it makes strange coloured cones appear that flash across my screen horizontaly. When I get further away they go away and when I get closer it gets to the point that I can barely see. However as soon as I remove the distillery it stops immediately. But my workers then keep trying to build it and so have to put something on top of the tile i.e. a Quarry or Mine. Other than that everything else from this mod works perfectly.

Hi there, the bug appears at my games, too. If the destillery is build up by workers anything is fine. The flickering triangles and polygones appear as soon as the destillery is finished and on screen. As soon as I scroll the map and the destillery is out of sight everything is fine again, so it definately has something to do with the model. The bug occours even in loaded saves and after restarts... My graphic card information is here: http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/14/06/17/444.png .
