Also just restarting CS:GO should revert the changes, as they are not being saved.

For me the game became unplayable since every time I turn for a few degrees its lags.:(

try reinstall the game
For me it work.

Delete all the files in cs go folder and reboot ur pc then install again cs go.

What year is your PC from? and what are the specs of it?
The FPSBoost button can't be the cause of the lag, it might have been there all along.


This is all what the 'FPSBoost' does, nothing fancy just some known cvars that may help boosting the FPS.

wait so if i just restart cs it will change back? I accidentally turned it on and i have a good PC

hello I accidentally clicked on fps boost and when I rebooted csgo I noticed that some of the commands it modified were still modified for example: muzzleflash_light 0 was to be muzzleflash_light 1, so you put it in the FAQ. I was wondering if the commands placed in the FAQ are the standard csgo commands and if I need to put those commands in order for my csgo to go back to normal
