Game - Live Rules
1 - Zero tolerance for hacking/glitching/ghosting/bug exploitation.
2 - Apologize for team kills in ALL CHAT.
3 - No intentional team killing under any circumstance.
4 - No asset wasting or griefing.
5 - No vehicle or aircraft ramming.
6 - Squad leaders MUST have an SL kit, microphone, and preferably use English.
7 - DO NOT create squads and immediately give away SL (aka "squad baiting")
8 - Vehicles that require crewman kits must be claimed by a single, dedicated squad. The first properly named squad has priority ("HMP/LAAT" are valid while, "Air" or "heli" are not).
9 - No main camping; if your sole intention is to destroy enemies entering/leaving main you are camping.
10 - No "main baiting"; do not force other players into a situation where they must main camp due to your exploitative positioning.
11 - The [GC] tag may only be utilized by Galactic Contention Staff. Refrain from using similar tags with GC while on our servers to help us avoid confusion.
11.5 - Staff Decision is final, you may always appeal bans in ⁠🔧get-support, unless otherwise noted.

Seeding Rules
These rules apply to our servers during the "seeding" phase; when the server is under 45 players to foster server population.

• AFKs are welcome during seeding.
• Fight only over the middle point until the game is live at 45 players or called "LIVE" by staff.
• FOBs on the first points for either team may not be destroyed.
• Mortars are not allowed, other emplacements are okay.
• No commander assets are allowed except LAAT/HMP STRIKES & SMOKE.
• Do not camp HABs or farm kills; it goes against the spirit of seeding


These rules apply only to the mod's main servers: [GC] Galactic Contention and [GC]Galactic Contention 2.
