The new tunnel walls
Thanks Lollus for providing the new Tunnel walls! The new glass materials as well! They do look good, however there were some instances where the straight wall is preferred. Is it possible we could have both iterations for detailing purposes? Thanks!

I don't think that would be practical, you know, usability. What cases have you got in mind?
I was building a custom underground flyover junction and the new curved wall at the top curves into the foundation I built a bit and hangs over. Fortunately, I had an autosave from before I messed with that wall and was able to revert it back to its original model, but I now know I can never click configure on it again as it will cause it to update to the new look.

I'm sure i will get used to the new designs, but they aren't compatible with all of the detailing work I've been doing for months because I didnt have those dimensions in mind while building.

As a compromise, maybe if you could implement a scale and offset on the Z axis for the wall so that we could sink or rise the entire structure a bit to hide the extra curved portion on the top within another colliding asset?

The walls are 6.8m tall, exactly like tunnels. How do they stick out? Did you use "minimum tunnel height"?

I used "no tunnel wall" style tracks so the tunnels have no defined height or width. The height is dynamic to whatever I design it to be at the time of construction. For the area I was working on, the walls from this mod weren't tall enough so i finished the rest of the height with building blocks for that section. Some of my underground pictures showcase this type of building. Definitely would never come across this situation in the vanilla game.

The scale and offset feature would get rid of the need to do those extra steps while also allowing you to just have one model for the walls instead of keeping both.

I could add a flag "use outside walls in tunnels". What about that?
That would be a nice toggle and would be great for all use cases.

There you go, it's in the workshop.
Thank You very much Lollus, this is exactly what was desired:steamhappy:

Combined with your Construction Mover; there are so many possibilities now! You have really turned this game into a Detailer's dream.
