Underground Cargo Station connection to Surface
Loving this mod (I've created an entirely underground passenger service on Colonel Failures map) BUT am I missing something or is there no way to connect an underground cargo terminal to the surface (IE to a depot or a factory). I can do it if I combine a passenger terminal with the cargo terminal but not if I make a station/terminal that is cargo only.

EDIT: Or (I've just noticed) do I use the platform connector (that I've just noticed :-) that connects to a road?

EDIT2: No, that's not it, with underground stations the surface road is not close enough.

So I think I've tried everything, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Would it be possible for you to add some sort of connection between an underground cargo terminal and a surface road/truck station? Maybe a cargo lift or a ramp (stairs might look a bit odd :-). It would be much appreciated (at least by me).

Cargo terminals are only on ground and I don't think I am going to change this.
Hmm, well I have a lot of underground cargo stations (joined to passenger stations) and those work fine. Cargo connects fine to a truck station place close on the ground or even gets used by demand locations in range. Sometimes I need an "underground entrance" to link to a truck station that's no close enough but those will not connect to a cargo station that is not joined to a passenger station.

I'd really like to be able to have some cargo stations without having to join them to passenger stations.

Still, your mod your decision :-)

Either way it's a great mod as is and I've used it to build dozens of station. Thanks.

I guess that’s your workaround then—build a tiny passenger terminal for every underground cargo station 😉

Underground cargo stations are officially forbidden :-) What do you want to make? A mine?
And yet the mod allows you to build them. It just won't let you get cargo out of one unless it is joined to a passenger station......

Todays interesting fact: The UK "Royal Mail" used to have an entire underground transport system for carrying mail between sorting offices around London. It opened in 1927 and operated for 76 years until it closed in 2003.

How would an underground entrance look?
You mean at ground level? I don't know, how about the top of a cargo lift? Or a building housing a cargo lift (or elevator or hoist or whatever it's called)?
