Since this in an open beta, some features are still WIP. In this case, rebel and imperial Mandalorians sill have some assets in development and haven't been implemented fully.

After invading the planet Thyferra with land forces, the game crashes. When I do the fight manually, I do not conquer the planet after victory. All my land forces disappear. I guess this is the bug.
Because when I let the fight be automatically, I conquer the planet with some casualties, but my troops do not disappear.
Or the problem might be that two fights happened at the same time and only one was processed. One fight was mine and the other was an attack on my planet. My fight was processed, but the other one disappeared. As mentioned before, when I let the fight happen automatically, everything seems to be fine. But when the next attack happens and I manually fight, the game crashes.

The ownership switching bug is a known bug that happens sometimes in the game, even vanilla. I'm still looking for possible solutions. What I've observed is that the game gives player the victory without all enemy units being dead and then the control of the planet locks and it practically impossible to take over. Quick question, did you or your opponent have MDU units present?

The crash is then when you tried to save and load that game after the ownership bug?

What is MDU?
Yes, it is like you wrote. I get a victory without all enemy units being dead, but my units disappear. And I can't take over the planet. I can save the game after the ownership bug, but I can not load the new save because the game crashes. I can only load the previous save and the game crashes after the next fight..

Mobile Defense Unit, it's a type of ground vehicle.

And yeah, that's the ownership bug. I am looking into it actively. It's not that common, you were just unlucky.

Yes, the opponent had MDU and they remain on the planet after the victory.

I have started a new game yesterday. I have played for probably 3 h. Everything was alright. I was trying to load my save today and the game keeps crashing. But the save worked yesterday. I have tried it before quitting the game. It worked. Since yesterday the game did not change.
I don't really understand what’s going on. I try to play vanilla and see if everything is fine. Maybe my game is broken.

i would try verifying the game files. I can honestly say I've never experienced this. Is your game fully updated? Did you run any mods in between?
