Creature Info

Macrocercodraco: A large relative of mapusaurus from saurians evolved 2, mapusaurus batters its foes with its tail club, powerful jaws, and claws. It is simalier in size to a giga. These creatures are basically demons amongst dinosaurs, leaving a trail of death and destruction behind them. Not even giga's stand a chance, this alpha-tribe destroyer has truly earned itself the name of a dragon


TAMING: Macrocercodraco possesses an incredibly high torpor, even more so than its impressively girthy healthpool. This causes regular tranquilizers to be very ineffective against such beasts thick hide
However, the use of a special kind of rocket appears to be able to pierce its skin. Injecting a type of tranquilizer specifically made to sedate this large draconic dinosaurid. The tranquilizer seems compeletely ineffective on any other creatures, however macrocercodraco itself seems to be normally resistant to this same tranquilizer except for under one condition
Upon preparing to roar, it seems macrocercodraco will take a more less steady stance, allowing for this rocket to properly effect the creature. Macrocercodraco will roar to attempt to get an adrenaline rush in battle. However this same tranquilizer seems to only work when reacting with the element that surges through its veins at this time. Causing a brief period of time when macrocercodraco will recieve large amounts of torpor. However this is only a brief period of time, requiring the proccess to be repeated multiple times.
Continue till the "Dragon" is unconscious.
Note: if successful the tranquilizer will also stop its adrenaline rush. Macrocercodraco's adrenaline rush lasts 15 seconds. around as long as it takes for it to do another roar. Adrenaline rush increases damage by 15% and stamina regenerates at a rate of 20 per second. As well as a slight damage resistance of 5%. So nothing too special. Also the tranquilizer will stun macrocercodraco. Meaning that even though its roar will stun you, both of you should unstun at relatively the same time




==ATTACKS==

Left Click: Bite - Has a chance of doing a claw swipe which hits twice. Inflicts draconic bleed which causes a bit of damage and makes you take 5% more damage

Right Click: Roar - High knockback and stuns smaller creatures and by smaller I mean smaller than a rex. Causes them to take 3x damage and stuns them for 8 seconds. Has a long cooldown and costs alot of stamina. After the buff is over creatures will attempt to flee from macro if unmounted. This attack will also make it vulnerable to recieving torpor from a special rocket launcher for around 8 seconds, the time actually extending a few seconds after the roar attack is finished. If inflicted with this buff, macro will lose its adrenaline rush. Macrocercodraco will also be stunned if inflicted with said buff.

C: Tail Spin - High knockback, damage, and inflicts whiplashed. Only hits things farther away from you

X: Tail Spin Barrage - Sends a landslide of rocks that deal around as much damage as a quadrepedal wild spino at your opponents, requires alot of stamina and has a cooldown.

Q: Tail Swipe - Can swipe high or low, inflicts high damage and knockback as well as whiplashed. Can hit twice

Lctrl: Stomp - Stomps in front of it, heavy damage and damages metal

Rctrl: Tail Slam - Slams its til behind it, heavy damage and inflicts whiplashed.

R: Dismount Attack - Use to dismount without taking fall damage. Does not auto dismount you, you have to do that yourself.



- immune to bleed, stun, cocooning, acid burn and electrocution
- immune to whiplashed and knockback
- very aggressive.
- as a way to balance macro for practically being a tamed giga that gets good boosts in stats per level. Macrocercodraco cannot level up speed, though this also means wild ones get those normally wasted stats distributed amongst its other stats, and macrocercodraco does not gain extra melee, health, torpor, stamina, or any other stats upon taming, and loses 10% movement speed on tame
- macrocercodraco originally accelerated over time while running when ai and when mounted, but this was annoying due to turning causing a reset in acceleration and due to how many of this creatures attacks were stationary leading to the removal of this ability
- macrocercodraco is way too heavy to be brought into boss arenas.
- macrocercodraco features almost compeletely custom animations, though a few animations for it were slightly broken and normal ark creature animations were used for it. The animations include:

- macrocercodraco is extremely well armored against projectiles, that combined with its very high base health and even more ludicrous torpor, causes them to be a challenge to tame. However shots to the eyes and inside of its mouth will allow you to do 13x damage with projectiles, while the body only takes around 20-30%
- despite their ludicrously high stamina, macrocercodraco's attacks cause it to burn through stamina quickly, they are unable to use any attacks when out of stamina, including their normal bite.
- macrocercodraco cannot level up speed.
- macrocercodraco can be considered the mascot of the mod, it was also the first ever creature made by me. And was made before the others in its mod. It was actually created around 1 and 1/2 years ago, but due to my inability to mod back then it never really got anywhere during those times
- macrocercodraco was originally going to be part of a mod with another custom animated creature, a small rex-like creature called microsklirirex, but unfortunately micro was lost alongside mostly all models made by me when the drive got corrupted and broke. The base model, which had been a rex rerigged to megalosaurus, can be found as one of the exo hybrids in Sids Hybrids. But that variant lacks all of the custom animations that had belonged to the micro, as well as the micros edited model
- macrocercodraco's name means, big tailed dragon, its scientific name macrocercodraco titanus. Which would mean titanic big tailed dragon. With titanic referencing its size and big tail referring to... well its big tail
- macrocercodraco has many scrapped and unused attacks, it was also originally going to have bipedal and quadrepedal, where it would have mostly the same moves across both stances, but the moves would differ in animation, how many times they hit, and the effects of the attacks. Bipedal wouldve been a brutish fighter with heavier, faster attacks while quadrepedal wouldve been the faster, but less agile, more PVE built creature that used a bit less stamina.
- an earlier model for macrocercodraco when I started working on its animations again was given to Sid for Sids Hybrids mod. However the newer model was offered to Sid, but Sid preferred the old model.
- macrocercodraco was originally going to be part of saurians evolved 2 as well, but instead became part of its own mod, however it still plays a role in saurians evolved 2's lore. As it is a relative of saurians evolved 2's mapusaurus.
- macrocercodraco had over 40 custom animations, however many of them were part of a original blender file, and when editing animations came along, I had made a copy of it to edit and removed alot of animations in the copy, only moving them over as i slowly reedited and improved each animation one at a time. The original macrocercodraco files were lost when my old drive corrupted, and the one you see here now only has a small amount of the original animations.
- original animations consisted of a right legged stomp, which looked more simalier to the stomp animation saurians evolved 2 mapusaurus had, a sideways sky facing roar, a shockwave roar, 2 leftward tail strikes. A triple claw swipe, a headbutt, body slam, and some WIP quadrepedal animation poses.
- macrocercodraco's right arm twitches in game when idle, but it does not in blender. It is a compeletly custom idle animation with only a few frames, the cause of stutter is unknown
- macrocercodraco started off as a curious little experiment by me of rigging ark creatures and rerigging them to other ark creatures that werent normally rig compatible, the first was a rex on allo animations, the second was a attempt to rig a megatherium to wyvern (which failed). Third was giga on yuty rig, which later became macrocercodraco, and finally rex on megalo. All files save for macro were lost.

Dodoterroraptor: A smaller subspecies of dodorex, the dodoterrorraptor is a overall rounded travel mount, though do be wary of its rather low end hp once tamed....

==ATTACKS==

Left Click: Bite - Penetrates armor like a carno. Low damage, but very fast attack.

Right Click: Acid Barrage - slows down enemies, has a small cooldown, must be enabled with AISpecial attack on tamed individuals however. Has a long cooldown for unmounted individuals. Hits 20-30 times, same damage as a reaper king's projectiles and inflicts cocooned.

C: Taunt


- is around rex tier when wild, around carno tier when tamed
- takes almost zero fall damage, but will fall down when falling, and sometimes when hit by attacks with high knockback
- very resistant to knockback.
- the creatures name was originally going to be terrorex, by evidenced by the spawncode. And then terroraptor, but due to mods with creatures like dodoraptor and dodorexy's as well as dodospondylus. A more unique name was chosen.
- while they recieve additional melee like normal creatures on taming, wild dodoterroraptor possess a base health of 1200, around 100 health higher than a rex, while tamed individuals only possess 400 base health, 20 less than carno and 40 less than baryonyx while also 25 higher than trike.

Colossi: The mighty colossi are creatures made of the earth itself, they must be related to the rock elemental, for i see no other creature with anywhere near simalier anatomy.

Right Click: Electrical Slam - High damage, inflicts electrocution, requires alot of stamina.

C: Electrical Rock Toss - Stops movement and requires stamina, aims like the thorny dragon, where the camera is pointed. Throws a rock with base 50 damage and has the same damagetype as a rock, but inflicts dismounting electrocution. Has a cooldown.

X: Spin - 360 degrees of damage. Has a cooldown and requires stamina. Harvests stone and metal. Damages stone structures.

Left Click: Arm Smash - Harvests stone and metal. Damages stone structures.

Right Click: Fire Smash - High damage, sets enemies on fire, requires alot of stamina. Has friendly fire. Same damagetype as a magmasaurs fireball, killing riders off their mounts and damaging all structures.

C: Rock Toss - Stops movement and requires stamina, aims like the thorny dragon, where the camera is pointed. Throws a rock with base 30 damage and has the same damagetype as the genesis golems rock explosion.

X: Spin - 360 degrees of damage. Has a cooldown and requires stamina. Harvests stone and metal. Damages stone structures.

Left Click: Arm Smash - Harvests stone and metal. Damages stone structures. Inflicts a slow effect like the ice wyvern

Right Click: Ice Slam - High damage, freezes targets solid, requires alot of stamina.

C: Ice Spear Toss - Stops movement and requires stamina, aims like the thorny dragon, where the camera is pointed. Throws an icicle spear with base 50 damage and has the same damagetype as a normal rock, but with the additional effects of a lance, dismounting riders. Inflicts a slow on targets and deals reduced damage VS players.

X: Spin - 360 degrees of damage. Has a cooldown and requires stamina. Harvests stone and metal. Damages stone structures.

==ATTACKS== (Arch-Tempered)

Left Click: Arm Smash - Harvests stone and metal. Damages stone structures.

Right Click: Two Arm Smash - High damage, requires stamina and has a slight cooldown. Inflicts trike stun on creatures below 400 drag weight. Basically just a better left click that cannot be used while moving.

C: Rock Throw - Stops movement and requires stamina, aims like the thorny dragon, where the camera is pointed. Throws a rock with base 50 damage and has the same damagetype as a rock. Has a cooldown.

X: Spin - 360 degrees of damage. Has a cooldown and requires stamina. Harvests stone and metal. Damages stone structures.

Lctrl: Roar - Stops movement.

Rctrl: Rampage - High damage, hits 4 times, requires alot of stamina. Demolishes all structures, same damagetype as titanosaurus. Has a long cooldown. Drains stamina every punch.




- All elementals will fight eachother when wild when near eachother, except for the tempered and ice colossus, which will still fight eachother if they accidently hit eachother.
- tempered colossus is territorial, ice is calm, fire is aggressive, arch tempered is very aggressive
- ice colossus is immune to being frozen.
- arch tempered colossus is immune to frozen, electrocution.
- tempered colossus is immune to electrocution and stun.
- fire colossus is immune to being frozen and fire.

- colossis reduce 25% of incoming damage now but take 2.2x damage from explosions

Hermitaur: a relative of the karkinos, which wears a huge trike skull on their backs, where do they get such enormous skulls? who knows... tales speak of a hermitaur who kills macrocercodraco though....

X: Spinning attack - Can hit up to 20-30 times if you somehow pull it off, spins 3 times rapidly snapping its claws, has a long cooldown, can be stunned from the attack by getting hit

Lctrl: Big Snap - Base 80 damage. Requires stamina and stops movement. Has a cooldown. Inflicts allosaur bleed.


- Dragon hunter variant reflects back 15% of physical damage back on its attacker, this damage type is the same as the deinonychus, inflicting you with bleed too
- Dragon hunter variant is a boss
- Hermitaur has 20% armor and the boss variant has 50%

Sky Kraken: Squids possess many times more genetic material than other creatures, therefor the strangest adaptation comes from them as well, it appears that they are capable of levitation now? Rather than ink they expell a gas that allows them to float, simalier to helium

Microsklirirex: this small relative of tyrannosaurus truly earned itself the name of small tough king.

==ATTACKS==

Left Click: Bite - inflicts micro bleed. Also heals rapidly when eating corpses

Right Click: Headbutt

C: Roar - can be used while moving

X: Roar - stationary

Lctrl: Grab - Grabs targets below 200 drag weight, base grab damage is decent. Will then bite rapidly for 5 base damage which scales with melee and rapidly inflicts the microsklirirex's unique bleed debuff before dropping said target.


- Can jump
- big turning radius but it gets better when walking
- Due to having given a copy of the experiments of rerigging to fellow modders, it was possible to recreate micro, however it lacks its edited model and custom animations, only being a simple rerigged rex with simalier moveset to megalo.
- Microbleed is a debuff applied by microsklirirex, it drains 1% of max hp over a certain time period, as well as draining some hp as a base. it stacks up to 10 times. but does not work on big dinos (not determined by drag weight, but by the bool value of a creature called is big dino)
- In order to tame it you must wait for it to do a special biting attack, then run up to it and feed it, it will only use this attack against unmounted players

Skliriceratosaurus: A mid-sized relative of mapusaurus and macrocercodraco, this bizzare creature gets its name from the bony crests on its head which resemble horns. It has a long snout resembling that of a baryonyx crossed with megalosaurus. And a row of elbow spikes. The creature is by far bizzare for its refusal to be tamed off anything but a mashed up pile of raw and prime meat. Best of both worlds i suppose.
Its horns appear to have small holes in them, these appeared to have been full of harmful bacteria, but skliriceratosaurus wont even let its owners try to fix it. In fact it seems to use this bacteria in combat, it rams its crest into its opponents and lets the bacteria weaken them before finishing them off.

==ATTACKS==

Left Click: Bite

Right Click: Brutal Charge - initiates a pachy style charge, but can turn while moving, requires and drains 80 stamina to start up the charge, maintaining the charge costs 15 stamina per second. Does not deal damage like a normal pachy charge however, however ticks damage much quicker.
:==Notes==:
- Ramming into an opponent requires them to actually be around the head area
- Base 15 damage ramming damage, but scales with melee
- Primary ram damagetype is of the titanosaur damagetype, literally allowing it to decimate all structures.
- Secondary ram damagetype is of the momentum, no damage but high knockback.
- Hitting an opponent automatically deducts 25 stamina from skliriceratosaurus, think of it as it using extra strength to push through this new obstacle.
- Ramming an opponent inflicts the infected wound debuff, quickly allowing you to stack that debuff rapidly to prevent opponents from healing for EXTREMELY long periods of time
- While charging will take reduced 50% of damage.
- Pressing C will end the charge with a head thrash, which deals base 50 damage and scales with melee to whatever it collides with, this is of the titanosaur damagetype. This will automatically drain 45 stamina regardless if you hit something or not, if you do you inflict infected wound as well as a variant of the trike stun, as well as MEGA knockback
- Charge has a cooldown.

C (Charging): End Charge

C: Headbutt - has a slight cooldown and inflicts infected wound. which causes opponents to take 15% more damage for 5 seconds

X: Aesthetic roar

Lctrl: Tail Spin - highest damage attack with high knockback, but has a cooldown.

O: toggle turn in place



- Due to having given a copy of the experiments of rerigging to fellow modders, it was possible to recreate skliri, however it lacks its custom animations, and a rushed bite animation was quickly made

Grand Obsidian Wyvern: An enormous wyvern, who is illsuited for flying, it is capable of combining an elemental beam into a laser shot. The creature appears to be heavy and a bad flyer, but it also appears to be quite friendly with crystal isle's native crystal wyverns

Left Click: Bite - relatively high damage

Right Click: Energy breath - breaths purple flames which will cocoon targets before combining into a beam which has high knockback and electrocutes enemies simalier to the lightning wyvern, except it doesnt do friendly fire. High stamina cost

C - Wing Slash, is a tail slap in the air




- only takes around 80% of incoming damage
- mini-boss, can be tamed
- will not usually fly as an ai unless it accidently falls into water
- big turning radius

Chimere: The chimere is a literal abomination, combination of a lion goat and scorpion, with the deadliest traits of each, only the toughest survivors will be able to face this beast on and win

C: Tail Lash - relatively high damage, inflicts infected wound. has a cooldown

X: Bellow - inflicts deafened, low damage, has a long cooldown.



- only takes around 80% of incoming damage
- boss, currently cannot be tamed.
- like the other bosses of the mod, it is weaker than macrocercodraco base. however like the other bosses, they cannot waste stats into speed, oxygen, stamina etc, while macrocercodraco doesnt waste stats into only speed. meaning that at higher levels they will best macrocercodraco
- will not usually fly as an ai unless it accidently falls into water
- big turning radius
- admin only

Reason for changes: With the spino getting a bit of a buff, heres to making rex stand out more from yutyrannus with more than just a tiny bit of more damage per hit!



CARNOTAURUS:
==== removed obnoxious stomping sounds when running and walking.
==== left click damage nerfed from 35 to 33, no longer penetrates armor. works like before its TLC. Just generic bite
==== AI attacks faster now and from farther away, attacks before coming in range so that it can charge into creatures just in time to be in range for the AOE. Making them hold back creatures better
==== increase AOE on left click so it can hurt things directly in front of it without using its headbutt (yes normal ark carno cant)
==== No longer needs a saddle to ride on it when it is tamed.
==== I dont think these ones will ally with yutyrannus in the wild since its not a childed BP...

Reason for changes: Carno only needed a texture and sound rework (and the texture rework did done wasnt that obvious or apparent...) Carno didnt need to become a titan killer... This is me finally taking out my frustration on the update that changed what, in my unpopular opinion, everything that didnt need changed on carno and didnt change what needed to be changed



STEGOSAURUS:

STYRACOSAURUS: basically triceratops replacement. Small as trike with same stats, changes are the following

Reason for changes: To be the ark trike, but without all those damn speed nerfs.



TRICERATOPS: Bigger slightly better and tankier triceratops. Fills a different niche than normal trike
==== Can attack while moving. Attacks before in range rather than way after like normal trikes. Also they will attack as fast as they are mounted when unmounted too. Pretty hardcore knockback now. But they do 5 less damage than vanilla trikes (from 35 to 30, yes ark trikes hit as hard as carnos and allos, the difference is that carnivores in ark are literally programmed, YES THEY ARE ALL LITERALLY PROGRAMMED. to take 40% less damage from wild herbivores. no im being serious.)
==== Aggros to help neighbors from farther away.
==== Bigger knockback resistance. Also hp from 350 to 500.
==== Custom rivalry buff. Instead of barely any changes rivalry is proper rivalry now, against normal carnivores like carno wont get rivalry, should be able to kill carno 1 v 1 in wild with around 100-150 hp remaining.) with rivalry gets almost 2x damage buff and 60% damage resistance and small hp regeneration buff + max hp boost like normal. Makes this trike more of an anti-large carnivore meta type creature. But its low damage will hold it back a bit

==== New stomp attack which isnt that good, nothing special and deals higher damage but slower attack, high knockback though.

Reason for changes: To make trike a true "rival" of big carnivores, but retaining its early gameness and fragility, but making it throw some of those weaknesses away and beat the living crap out of some big carnivores, since its normal rivalry buff always felt kinda underwhelming, also because normal ark trike has good range but the AI refuses to take advantage of it.



ANKYLOSAURUS: bigger and stronger and tankier anky. Actually i dont know any reason to pick normal anky over this one
==== Can attack while moving. Bite is now left click and can be used while moving and spammed. Deals only 10 damage though but even the ai can attack super duper fast with it
==== Aggros to help neighbors from farther away.
==== Almost entirely immune to knockback, also reflects back 15% of damage back on attackers (kentro reflects like 30-40% i think)
==== Drag weight increased, can no longer be carried by all the things it used to be
==== Right click is tail whip, now also inflicts the trikes slowing effect, pretty heavy damage but has a slight cooldown. Hits twice
==== C is tail swipe, damages stone structures and harvests meat but cant harvest stone.

Reason for changes: Made a joke like a year ago regarding how thorny dragon, anky, and something else didnt reflect damage but kentro with its arguably less spiky appearance could, everything else was kinda just based off of a certain other very well made mods reworked anky.



BRACHIOSAURUS: slightly bigger than bronto. Same stats but some differences
==== Immune to knockback. Does not flee when low on hp. And will attack you if you get too close to it.
==== Aggros to help neighbors from farther away.
==== Left Click is a bite with good AOE and can be used while moving, but deals little damage
==== Now has a front stomp, back kick, two leg stomp. Front and back do 60 damage each with rather small hitboxes. big stomp deals 120 base damage with a cooldown + metal damage.
==== Same stats as a bronto.
==== Added a roar taunt
==== Creatures target its legs and head.
==== added 10% armor damage reduction. As well as an extra 50% damage reduction against projectiles, but has a 2x weakness to explosions

Reason for changes: I really hope bronto gets an official TLC, because at the moment from the camera, animations, everything, feels so unusable in PVE.



DIPLO: relatively the same as ark diplo. But plays a bit rougher now
==== LMB can be used while moving, no changes here. Makes it actually be a good path clearing transportation mount to push creatures out of the way without damaging them more effectively.
==== Now has other attacks, a stomp with very good damage but bad AOE and ai will use it derpily as if playing around and hopping with joy, you know how puppies bounce around and stuff. And a tail whip, VERY BAD radius, hitboxes are along the whole tail but hard to aim. Very low damage but stuns small to medium creatures and has a cooldown. Stomp has big cooldown.
==== Headbutt is toggled as an AI special attack by default. To allow your diplo to focus on DPS, unmounted stomp and tail still do have a decently long cooldown though.
==== So basically, incredibly high base damage on its attacks. But cannot level melee, basically, gives the diplo the OPTION to do damage, and pretty good damage at that, at least compared to smaller stuff, but making it not as effective with higher level tames since raptors might eventually hit harder since they can actually level melee. Just gives the diplo well, the ability to fight back a bit.

Reason for changes: To make diplo something you might CONSIDER taming, but not making it stray too far from its early game fodder role. But also making it fufill its role and still be a somewhat threat. At least in large groups.



SPINO: Compeletely different than the ark spino
==== Passive tame and passive too towards creatures.
==== Bipedal. Has much higher base hp now. 1900 now.
==== Will fight other carnivores of all sizes as an AI now
==== Slightly larger in size as well as different swim animations. Better knockback resistance
==== Left click is a bite which stops movement on land. Okay knockback and rather low damage and slow attack speed
==== Right click claw attack, inflicts bleeding. low damage and has a pretty long cooldown
==== C to roar, very long cooldown and stuns smaller creatures
==== Has a tail spin it can only do in the water. Decent damage but long cooldown
==== Lctrl changes right click to a quadrepedal charge like the pachy's. But you can turn.
==== still has the hydration buff.

Reason for changes: Just for fun for alternate spino possibilities.



YUTY: For my carno and a few other things, is childed from yutyrannus so it means i cant edit the graphs
==== Classified as medium carnivore. Should fix issues between the different teams yuty and carno normally are on.
==== Damage from bite nerfed from 55 => 37. but attack speed as ai is faster. But knockback on bite is nerfed
==== Fear roar drag weight affecting on noncarnivores nerfed from 705 to 700, fear roar now affects rexes as maximum size for fear roar. (560 drag weight)

Reason for changes: Its criminal how jurassic park basically portrayed a huge ostrich-like creature as fodder. Gallimimus can now somewhat live up to its meme equivalents status



Dilophosaurus: I dont even know, just, rideable dilo

==== Secondary bite inflicts its venom debuff, takes some time though

Paracer: PVE friendly paracers
==== Isnt part of the herbivore gang that is what this mod is slowly being known for.

==== LMB is headbutt can be used while moving
==== RMB is stomp, higher damage than vanilla paracer but stamina cost and cooldown, fixed the hit so it only deals damage as the leg is stomping down.
==== C is a taunt.

Reason for changes: Literally no reason outside of the fact paracers suck outside of PVP. They are literally just meat sources, which i feel is kinda disrespectful towards the second largest land mammal ever.



Quetzalcoatl: More realistic quetzal
==== Different model, bigger, uses the R quetz textures
==== Aggressive
==== Stays mainly on the ground or lower on the ground, as quetzals probably were in real life
==== Most of the stuff is the same as normal quetz. Still cant run on the ground.
==== C on the ground is now a wyvern style wing blast, but executes slower.
==== Lctrl is now a roar, a unique animation that the quetz got after gen 2 update.

Reason for changes: No way shape or form is this anything like how wildcard would update the quetz, but I wanted to do a unique take on a pterasaur, and what better than the giraffe sized pterosaurs believed to have been primarily land dwellers?



Gigapleura: Something stupid that might be removed
