looks very detailed
Wear appears on the metal part. This is what metal looks like when it wears out.
Apparently it's not a matter of what the wear looks like, but what kind of Ak-47 Slate you have in your inventory. Sadly.
Be fair and strive to have skins in your inventory that don't wear out.
No offence intended!
Thank you)
Thank you. The gif shows one type of wear. Valve can edit its value at its discretion.
Tell me,
1) what exactly did you like about the Ak-47 Slate wear for CS:GO?
2) what's not to like about the wear for the Ak-47 Slate model for CS2?
Thank you
Thnx!
The wear on the metal, albeit realistic, is... super unfortunate compared to how it currently looks and did look in GO.
I agree with Gza, the current matte finish and lack of any super apparent wear (of course) is a very clean look - even with lower quality wears it's really nice to look at and use.
imho, the updated metal material and wear specifically are just not it. The rest of the updated skin is stunning. No offense intended towards your work of course, but a cleaner, more solid skin is generally more appealing than a chipped one.
Keep up the fantastic work
I assume now the well worn is going to look like crap in comparison (since I can't figure out how to actually look at this updated version in game), while the wear levels look fine and you do a great job on the new version, this is why people are upset/disappointed/angry, because their moderately priced decent looking skin is now going to be ugly and worthless while I would assume factory new versions which are currently "affordable" will jump in price and demand a premium because it will be the only solid black version.
The problem is that the old CSGO version never had wear at all, and this would be a problem with any skin being updated to receive different wears.
maybe a compromise would be that the paint just fades maybe instead of being rubbed off entirely.
