oh and may be that there will be new buiscits like COSMETIC STATS
This is a cosmetic itemset. Valve will not add any kind of stats to this item. And neither would the creator of this item.

i think its just a hat you dont need to do stats troll
I'd think it would be like, -10% Damage from all sources, -15% movement speed, +25 Health. You know because of metal. :D

This is a cosmetic. No stats. Also you should look into fixing your Caps Lock.

this would be really cool but they wont add it to the game :( its not really tf2 related
the only way this will have stats if it takes you 95% longer to build ANYTHING at the cost of bullets doing 12% less damage, and fire will affect you longer due to the metal, making it a painful cosmetic to wear, but its bulletproof at a certain extent, which would be funny, and you move x2 as slow as heavy.

WRONG
it is possibility to make a great secondary weapon for Engineer, which will give him new abilities. It is also possibility to make just another cosmetic item... but game already have tons of different cosmetics, and many more will be added. Making an actual weapon, however, will allow to still see the item as it it was cosmetic - and ALSO use it as weapon.

first thing I saw was metal thingy with battery. I guess the battery makes the most of protection (forcefield), so no extra weight. Like Sniper's secondaries, main downside is unability to use pistol, wrangler or short spammer for more active self-defence, thus more effective primary weapon shall be added.

Possible stats, thus, one of those:
1) Absorbs all of damage and knockback taken. Crit immunity
For each damage point absorbed, uses 2 metal (critical damage nullified for free)
Active as long as you have 2 or more metal
No backstab protection
2) Just plain passively cuts away 30% of any damage.

In any case, does work in Medieval.
