I already made some suggestions in the comments, but the summary is:
-Reworked Germany, possibly a Germanic Confederation ( HRE), lead by new countries such as Karling Francia in the West, Saxony i the North, Alamannia in the South and Gothia in the East.
-Reworked Middle East, Islam only in Arabia, big Armenia, Aramaic city-states, collapsing Persia.
-Reworked Northern Balkans and Carpathia, with a GP Dacia, Magyaro-Bulgarian federatii, no South Slavs, possibly Albania as a remnant of the original Illyrians in otl Serbia and Trace in central Bulgaria (both Dacian cg).
-Possibly reworked eastern Europe, with Germans up to the Vistula, Russians divided between Greek influenced (Orthodox) Bosporia ( Azov?) and Germanic ( ie Catholic) Novgorod and their spheres of influence, the Baltic as a battlefield between Catholic Livonians and Romuva ( there's no Poland to convert them) Lithuania and Pruthenia. Baltic tribes extend from the Vistula to the Daugava and the northern Dnieper since there is no Kievan Rus to conquer their southern lands.
-Reworked India, don't know too much about the subcontinent to make a suggestion, but Islam wouldn't be there except for maybe a merchant kingdom on the Gujarat (idea).

i kind of don't wanna focus on india and persia until later, but i'll probably rework it to some extent. Germany will probably be changed, and i don't really think the balkans changes are gonna fit with what i want with the region. I still want the slavic invasions in the balkans to happen, just not to go as far as irl. i've added dacian pockets in between slavic majorities, but i'm probably not doing a united Dacian powerhouse.

but great suggestions, and thanks.

Got a small idea for Germania, at least with the fact there's Upper and Lower Allemania. Could have it be split into two duchies of the same name and a formable of Allemania in the same vein as Bavaria being split and itself as a formable tag.

Not sure how easy or difficult it would be, but you could rework the nation specific age abilities. At the moment, three of the Age of Discovery bonuses are for countries that don't exist (Portugal, Venice, Ottomans).

@jeffdankfire i'm trying to figure out how, but yeah 100%

Maybe instead of some kind of HRE replacement, maybe we could see some kind of germanic kingdom or collection of kingdoms? Maybe something akin to the State Gaul is in in the mod? Also Given how Cartage was more Mediterranean-based and how there seems to have been two Schisms, Maybe the British Isles and Scandinavia have their own Christian branchs with their own Norse, Celtic, and/or Anglo-saxon flavors(Like how Trinitism has a caaninite deity as a saint, Norse and Celtic gods could potientally work as saints too maybe?)? Maybe "Angland" would have some sort of mix. Just some ideas

perhaps to keep things in one place a discord server could work?

@cyberspacer not a big fan of discord but i am heavily considering it

Given that the Galicians are cut off from the rest of Gaul by the Punics, could make a stretch to say they could still be celtic pagan by way of centuries of fighting off encroaching settlers or something, just an idea.

This is a great mod. Ironically, it makes me more interested in playing in eastern Europe due to the lack of HRE and Ottomans :P

Not suggestions per se, but some things I noticed that may be bugs:
-Normandy somehow formed France. I wasn't paying enough attention to see exactly how, but now there's a slowly-growing blue blob up there.
-Renaissance didn't fire. It may have been waiting on some conditions or other, but I wound up consoling it in when 1455 came.
-Cyrenaica and Cyprus appear to have no flag - Cyrenaica's shield is just plain black, and Cyprus's is just plain white. Maybe they have an icon that's just really hard to see due to colors?
-I didn't see any CoRs for Protestant and Reformed when they showed up. A couple provinces flipped, but no mass-switching like in vanilla (though this may be deliberate).
-The trade line from not-Venice to not-Genoa makes a weird u-turn in the Ligurian sea - it goes past the Genoa CoT, then turns 160* to go to the CoT itself.

My guess for Cyrenaica is the fact that the flag was historically that or something, much like Libya having a plain green one

So given how Christianity is in this, maybe whats Catholic into more regional inspired ones with integration of local religions i.e. like how you have Trinitarian with the one god turned saint? just an idea
