Either on a per item basis, or a simple blanket option to let all relevant items added by the VFE mods satisfy nobles.
Or is there some technical reason why this isn't feasible?
And I also agree with Scott Wilco - the Jarl Crown states it satisfies noble requirements on the page, so it really should. Guessing the Jarl Cape is in the same boat, maybe the Noble Fur Cloak, but I haven't checked those.
Vest and Great Dress working for lower-rank nobles would be neat as well, but not as big a thing as 'doesn't do what it was said to do' to me.
Is it a "yeah, good idea!", a "maybe, it's a lot of work", or a "hell no, don't like it at all" ?
In the latter case, I might try adding the fur beds to a local copy of the mod myself, for personal use. If you're considering implementing my suggestion, I'm not going to expend the considerable effort to teach myself how :)
Whatever you decide, thanks for all the hard work and the fun it brings!
I am actually considering to make toggable patch. So I could add some patch off by default, and allow people to activate it.
Vest, great dress and jarl crown will be patched with the next version.
- Jarl crown and cape can be used for all royal wich accept gear of level 5 (count and some lower title)
- Vest and great dress can be used for all royal wich accept gear of level 2 (esquire/knight/prateor)
- Added toggable patches. Double fur bed and rat cheese patches can now be activated (deactivated by default).
- I added the above needed code inside the Vanilla Expanded Framework, thus this mod now need it.
- Toggable patches settings can be found in Vanilla Framework Expanded settings.
Great work btw.!
Edit: Nevermind, saw that it is in the settings, mb
- Jarl crown, jarl cape, and noble fur coat should be placed under "noble apparel" in stockpile categories, rather than mixed in with general apparel categories
- Jarl cape and jarl crown, as items satisfying high-ranking royals, should be unlocked by Royal Apparel research instead of Noble Apparel
VFurnitureE:
- Upright Piano should be unlocked by Piano research, else it gives us a drastically cheapened way to satisfy noble requirements
- Wreath for nobles and under "noble apparel" in stockpile categories
- Centurion gear for nobles up to knight or praetor
