Vanilla radio/TV station audio bug?

I've had this mod for quite awhile and always wondered why it disables the mumble audio from the regular TV and radio stations. Is anyone else getting this? Is this some niche bug or a necessity in the mod's code? I miss the default stations sounding like George Lucas mumbling to himself :(
