It looks like [Human Resources](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2119687603) adds a substantially-different playstyle for research, revolving around books, libraries, and learning.

I don't see any *direct* support that's needed; they can simply exist side-by-side; but there's plenty of opportunity for beautiful synergy:

- Sharing workbenches for writing tasks,
- Storing skill-improving/leisure books (from VBE) in the same bookshelves as research-topic books (from HR),
- If you're feeling generous, donate some of Oskar's wonderfully contiguous artistic resources to HR, so a "library" with objects from both mods doesn't look so out-of-place
