Annoying Bug.

Theres a bug whenever I set back to an earlier point of time. Something doesnt really load, then there are some dead buttons on top of the hero + weapon zones.

Try clicking the unlock and lock button near the top. Looks like there might be a timing issue with TTS. I can't seem to get into the problem you are seeing, but the buttons are from the ability to customize the playmats.
