here is my upgrade proposal.
(a sniper is more powerful than a rifle but less powerful than a missile or a grenade launcher)
I don't know why ARK DEV nerf all vanila stuff -_-
You need to kill Master Controller in alpha, with 168 missions for Cruise Missile, and you do less dmg than your sniper, and it's a single shot ><"
My server is a PVE server with a high build rate, so some stuff require a balance adjustment for me.
PS: all my DMG tests were done on a T-Rex Lv 400

-- You're right that my mod actually does less per plasma bolt on the tek saddles; however, if you notice, the rate of fire and the speed of the projectiles have both massively increased, meaning overall effective DPS has gone up in a major way. Therefore, I don't see a reason to change this except for splitting them into two different tiers, which I will try to do with all items.
-- I would love the ability to harvest with tek claws and sword. I'll see what I can do.
-- I cannot change the lighting color of anything except the railgun and sword easily. I would need to create and redefine a different texture for each one and edit it in an editor that allows saving as Ark's proprietary file type. I will see what I can figure out about that, but it's certainly not high priority for the effort/outcome payoff.
-- I have no idea how you're getting better armor values on the tek saddles, much less 600+ armor; is there a way to procure high-quality blueprints for tek saddles that I just don't know about? Genuinely curious on that one.
-- I agree that some genesis weapons might need a buff, but remember that cruise missiles and grenades are explosive and have significant splash damage, meaning they have a niche use over and above the railgun even without doing more raw damage to the primary target.
-- Imo the tek rifle is pretty balanced as is, if a little bit overpowered. I might make several upgrade iterations of that one, with the legendary variant being very expensive and somewhat close to your proposal.
