Food Balance
It would be great if some of these food choices were buffed imho. The stuff that require meal batter or especially nosh milk should at least be +4 quality.

Kakawa Bar: Would be great if this didn't spoil. It would be an early game alternative to berry sludge, as space food.

Salt-cured Meat: Was disappointed when I found out that this doesn't count as meat for the Carnivore achievement. (The same problem probably exists for all the other meat-based recipes in the mod, but I only tried this one).

Battered Pacu: It's only +3 quality. I could just cook the pacu and still get +3 from cooked seafood. Sure, this is more kcal-efficient, but it has a lot of extra steps.

Milk Bun: Should probably be at least +3 or even +4 quality. Nobody is going to make sucrose, meal batter AND nosh milk, only to then settle for a subpar +2 food item. (Could be understandable if this was an intermediate step for a +6 recipe, but it's a dead end).

Mealbrot: Should be at least +2 or maybe +3 quality, it requires eggs, which could be made into Omelettes instead. Currently its only use it to make it for the plant burger.

Jelly Doughnut: Once again, it should at least be +3 or +4 quality food. Possibly with a food buff, like "Sugar Rush - +2 athletics"?

Sea Taco: The 6kcal bug has been there for ages. (I reported it in Dec 2021). I understand the author has some RL issues, I hope he's doing okay.

Overall, I see all these great food choices, but so few of them are actually worth making, especially compared to dead-simple vanilla options like BBQ, berry sludge or pepper bread. I'd love to play around with these more complex recipes while feeling like I'm being rewarded by the end result.

Foods in the game are balanced around providing ~400 kcal per plant per cycle, and extra ingredients / cooking steps adding extra quality. Some of these recipes are actually drastically overpowered, like salting meat adding +75% kcal (compared to +25% for BBQ) and grilled plant meat adding +100%. I think more realistic figures would be +5-10% for grilled plant meat and +25% for salted meat, to account for extra ingredients and/or duplicant labour.
