"The rational choice is to eliminate yourself from the equation. Allow the completion of the Harvest and life on Earth can prosper for millions of years. Humanity brings disparity to the balance and their extinction is due. Do not allow your compassion and tiny individualism to cloud your judgement."

Summary: McCauley dies. Humanity is Harvested and joins the Mass where they find harmony in unity with no more conflict. The balance of life on Earth resumes under the eye of the Intelligence.

Ending: McCauley submitted at the very end and allowed the Harvest of humanity to be completed to maintain the balance of Earth. After 30 years of struggle The Tempest is finally over and humanity is now extinct. But rather than being dead they should be considered united and changed for the better. This sacrifice means other life on Earth can prosper for millions of years to come.

Destroy the Mass, destroy the Moon

"Or our method for maintaining the balance of life on Earth can be deemed a failure. You can complete our eradication and destroy the Mass. The Tempest will end and humanity will be free, but know this comes at great cost to all life – a calamity of fire will reign down from the skies.";

"The Mass is core to the structure of the Moon - destroy the Mass and the Moon will be destroyed. This place is a womb, where we grow our future. Without it chaos will ensue, but humanity will survive and be forever free of our influence."

Summary: Completely eradicate the Mass and the Intelligence. McCauley and everyone else on the Moon dies. The Earth colonies and those infected with The Tempest will regain their independence and can rebuild but will have to live in a post-apocalyptic world without a Moon.

Ending chosen: The final part of the Mass was destroyed and the Moon collapsed. McCauley and everyone else on the Moon died as fragments of the Moon crashed into the surface of the Earth. The calamity from the skies sparked a terrifying apocalypse but humanity will endure and survive. Losing the Moon mean long term consequences, but humanity can rebuild and is now free of any external influences.

Merge with the Mass and protect loved ones

"Or we offer another chance to join us. We feel there is room for us to coexist. You can provide sanctuary to those you care for and their existence can continue in safety. All others whose names you do not know will be subject to the Harvest. Their sacrifice will satisfy the need to cull."

Summary: McCauley joins the Mass. The handful of people close to McCauley are saved and can continue living on Earth in peace. The rest of humanity will be Harvested to satisfy the Intelligence.;

Ending: McCauley merges with the Mass and is able to protect those close to him. Anyone who McCauley did not know individually was Harvested. The survivors return to Earth and with the remaining colonies they are confined to a tiny spit of land, their existence no longer deemed a threat. The survivors now live mundane lives, remembering McCauley and wondering what could have been…

Leave the Mass crippled and return to Earth alone

"Or leave this place now, and no longer will our influence extend to nurture life on Earth. You can return to Earth where you alone can block all external control. All survivors on Earth will be free, but those remaining on the Moon will join with the Mass and those infected with The Tempest will die."

Summary: McCauley returns to Earth alone - those on the Moon must join the Mass. The remaining infected on Earth will die but the remaining colonies on Earth will survive and be free.; “

Ending chosen: The Mass was left crippled and McCauley returned to Earth alone. Everyone he cared for is gone, their sacrifice ensuring McCauley can lead humanity free of extra-terrestrial influence. Those infected with The Tempest were all rendered neutralised. The remainder of humanity lived on under the protection of McCauley and the balance of life on Earth was restored for the time being…

Replace the Intelligence and give McCauley control

"Rather than join the Mass you alone could replace the Intelligence. Perhaps our collective memory is no longer effective and one leader that unites all individuals under their image is a better way. The Harvest would not be required and you alone will have the power to control the balance of life."

Summary: McCauley replaces the Intelligence within the Mass and can control everyone should he want to. He could allow everyone to have freedom or shape humanity around his own desires.

Ending chosen: McCauley fell into the Mass and replaced the Intelligence, meaning McCauley is now in control. Will he let everyone be free or will he shape humanity in his own perfect image? Colonists and infected are alive, but what happens next is down to what McCauley chooses to do with this control. Perhaps everyone can decide for themselves? One hopes the future of humanity is peace and harmony…

Solidify the Mass and allow humanity to determine its fate;

Summary: McCauley uses the last Anti-Matter device on himself and falls into the Mass. Everyone else survives and all remaining life on Earth, including the infected, regain control of themselves and can resume normal life, thus allowing Humanity to resume on its own destructive path…; “

Ending chosen: McCauley explodes the Anti-Mass Device in his hands and falls into the Mass which creates a perfect concoction to solidify the Mass. The Intelligence ceases to exist without its organic form, thus everyone on Earth is free of its influence and The Tempest. It’s going to take time to rebuild but humanity will survive. One can only hope the suffering and sacrifice will be remembered when it comes to shaping the future of Earth…

Phase 10: Johnny was left alive in the Omega Lab
Phase 17: Miranda was exiled
Phase 20: McKenzie and McKraken were both restrained
Phase 21: Smith was forgiven


With the Solomon Four alive and Smith forgiven, the Magic Badger believes humanity can change. The Mass is crippled and the Intelligence is weakened. There is a rare opportunity to erase the Intelligence and transfer its mindfulness to Johnny who was left alive but not conscious in the Omega Lab a year ago. Smith will lead the Solomon Four with a Special Council that will unify and rule over all of Earth. They will become the “Alpha and Omega”.

Ending chosen: Seeing how The Solomon Four and Smith can put all differences aside, The Magic Badger seizes the opportunity to eliminate the Intelligence and transfers its mindfulness to Johnny whilst the Mass is weakened. Everyone under the influence of The Tempest awakens and all other survivors on Earth can welcome them back to the new world. Those on the Moon travel safely back to Earth and McCauley, McKenzie, McKraken, Johnny and Smith form a Special Counsel to set about the unification of peace on Earth. With the greatest free thinking minds on the planet humanity is well equipped to rebuild and begin anew…
