One With Nature

Unlike other spacefaring cultures, instead of exploiting the resources of their homeworld in an industrial revolution, this civilization flourished by learning to co-exist together with the bounty provided by the flora and fauna found in the environment before they went into space. can you add "Lost Colony With Primitives" where it's the lost colony origin, but there was already a native primitive race and can you have multiple options for different ages they were at when the aliens arrives? And one where there were pre-sapients when the aliens arrived?

1. Oh God, starting with Destroyer tech is broken as hell :lunar2019crylaughingpig: .
2. I thought The Great Khanate was the Authoritarian/militarist origin.

@ghosterino

1. Admittedly I figured it is but tbh I'm not too concerned about balance
2. My intention was for the ethos focused origins to be a bit broader and generic in theme, so while I did consider changing the Great Khanate to the authoritarian or militarist origin, I decided against it because I felt it was a touch less generic.

Just a typo heads up, "dissipate" (meaning to dissolve or fade away) comes up in a few descriptions, but I believe the word you're looking for is 'disparate' (meaning seperate, distinct, at odds.) Cheers for the cool mod!

@Chocobo-Raider: Thanks for the heads up! Not sure why I didn't catch that before, must've typed those when I was half-awake lol. Anyways, I'll have that included in my fixes for my next update, whenever that rolls around.

Looks like the Lost Continent doesn't currently do anything. I've tried starting with it multiple times, used observer mode to watch the AI start with it, and in all cases there is no planetary feature.

@baltarstar Are you by chance running Planetary Diversity? There was a bug where planetary features won't show up properly if using it with that mod for some reason (not sure why, since I don't touch vanilla code)

Wow these origins are cool! I do feel like the archealogist job from Lost Continent could use some love. A singular job that gives half the output of a researcher feels like a shame for such a cool origin. Maybe giving it a 0.05 minor artifact output on top of what it's got would bring it on tier with the other (arguable stronger) origins. Or is there more content in-game then what's shown here?

Anyway, love the mod and would like to see more :lunar2019smilingpig:

Balance-wise only Steampunk is stronger then the rest of the origins. Otherwise very well thought out and put together!
