Suppression
Suppression Hediff clarification
I get that the Hediff given by this app makes aiming slower/worse and effects move speed, but to clarify, does it also make the pawn literally harder to hit, as if they are ducking or crouching (basically some free cover as tradeoff)? The mod description also mentions ducking, but can't determine whether this is a vanilla thing or added by this mod, and whether "ducking" is what might reduce to pawn's to be hit or not (as opposed to the "suppressed" hediff). Like how do you tell if a pawn is ducking (no visuals), except for maybe another hediff?

Somewhat related, but pawns under mortar fire don't seem to get the "suppressed" hediff, that seems like a no brainer (especially since this game doesn't add the whistling for incoming mortars). Honestly the pawns should be suppressed prior to mortar hits if the "suppressed" hediff adds free cover, but that is prolly beyond the capacity of this game's engine.

Some comments also have mentioned that pawns wearing shield belts can get suppressed hediff, seems to defeat the point of the shield belt, though I haven't yet personally witnessed this behavior (ie, wearing functioning shield belt should be mutually exclusive with suppressed, at least until the shield pops).

I do think that in general the pain/mental threshold should actually play a role in this as well. If you are high as ♥♥♥♥ you can be a berserker like who has no regard for his own life or if you are wearing good protection you should be supressed less. Oh well, it is what it is for now.
