is there a reason i cant get a few tek engrams from these?

i beat all 3 alpha bosses on the island, and killed a ton of shinies, but they stopped giving me tek engrams, im missing 4, the new mek, the railgun and 2 others (cant recall what they are but i also cant see them lol)
