Loagenbrook quest
I've been rescuing scared people for close to half an hour and nothing seems to happen. I went back to talk to the ranger but all he said was "keep rescuing 'em". Am I supposed to go where he told me not to go? Is it possible to defear those blightlings? They come in HUGE waves and they tend to come in 2 or more groups so I may end up facing 200+ troops while I can only have 70 people on my side. What do I do now?

The Blightlings have some things in store for you... As long as you don't quit w/o saving as soon as you're captured.

You have to wait a little bit and have a certain amount of renoun. Some dude will ask you to go to a big city in the north-western part of the brown-ish kingdom and there he'll give you a quest to attack a caravan, and you can decide to go forward with it or simply let the caravan dude get away

Is there any possible way you could have done this railroad in a less garbage way? Mind you, I'm OK with the forced capture, but I legit thought the infinite spiders was a bug, and quit to come see if anyone else is having the infinite spiders bug.
If a scripted encounter seems like a bug, you've done something wrong and need to rethink it. Seriously, I got to the point where it was lagging because I had killed so many of them.
These reasons and these reasons alone are why I'm calling it garbage. There are simply better ways of forcing a capture that the player won't go "This has to be a bug." And quit the game. One great way, betray the player and have them sent into the lair where the game just forces a capture or something. I'm sure that can be done with a little fiddling.

An on screen notice wouldn't hurt tbh... not to mention a hint in the quest that you need to be captured(at least one that is OBVIOUS)
