ARK: Survival Evolved

Automated Ark 3 RP Edition - Core
Egg Crate, Refrigerator, and Freezer transformations
I want to preface the issue with an observation that on my Engram list, I have two versions of each AA crafting station and storage container available to learn for the same amount of engram points. The only differences between them is one is labelled "AA: [name of structure]" while the other is just "[name of structure]", and the "AA" versions are the only structures that function as intended; the simplified versions are defunct structures.
For eggs-ample, there is an "AA: Egg Crate" and "Egg Crate" in the Engrams list, but only the "AA: Egg Crate" operates as Automated Ark intends. The Egg Crate does not pick up any eggs.
This is more of a minor annoyance as far as the Engrams go, easily ignorable and not the main issue I am encountering my current playthrough on a friend's private server.

My actual issue is that I have placed an AA: Egg Crate, AA: Fridge, and an AA: Freezer that transform into the defunct versions after logging back in after a prolonged absence. I do not lose the inventory from these structures, but I am unable to access inventory directly from opening them; when I do open one up, it shows me absolutely nothing inside the storage. In order for me to regain the inventory I cannot see, I can use the Console to pull inventory from the refrigerator parts, but for the Egg Crate I must to remove or demolish the structure to get the loot bag and manually move them to safer storage. Then I'm forced to re-craft the correct structures with the "AA:" prefixes and re-organize everything.
This didn't both me too much at the beginning when I only had the Egg Crate malfunctioning (which I have had to replace three times over the weekend), but the fridge/freezer can be a bit more costly in terms of resources to craft and I don't want to have to replace them again every time I log on.

Is there a fix to:
1) Keep the transformation of "AA:" to defunct versions from happening (preferred)
OR
2) Make the defunct items fully operable so the transformation doesn't impact my first 10-15 minutes of gameplay every day I play

I'm afraid to simply ask my friend to remove the defunct structures from the Engram and craft list, as I feel there's a possibility that the AA: structures are transforming for a reason that I am not technologically adept enough to diagnose. I fear if they do not have that defunct structure to transform into, that they will just disappear with all of my resources inside them into the nether whilst I slumber upstairs in my Wooden Cage.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. If someone else has had a similar issue and has a resolution, please provide me a link; I scanned through the Discussions quickly and nothing I glanced at looked like it was the same issue, but I may have missed something.
