Also cannot rename Fertilizer or Compost Bin

From my experience, the veggie crate only automatically pulls items that you can place in it and grow like berries and veggies. You have to have at least 1 of the item, place it in the veggie crate and hit "Add item" on the pull list like 4 or 5 times. Then after a little bit of wait time it'll automatically pull those items periodically. That's how it worked for me.

Hi thank you for the comment. I know how OCD works, let me rephrase what I meant to say:
I slap some berries in the veggie crate, then slapp the Add Resources To List button, and try to manually sort via the Console, but the console takes the stuff out the veggie crate instead of sending to it.
After using the Add Resources button I get this message (I spammed here)

Also for some reason stopped working for the fertilizer silo, its so broken, I wonder if thats the issue with having the mods separated.....

I actually found the fix! Add under server settings ActiveMods= (mods ids separated with commas) with their numbers under the gamesettings.ini and that did fix my problem, I went digging on discord forums.

for those who struggle to decypher the steps here (the following steps are for Nitrado servers and possibly other servers too):
1. open the server's website
2. go to advanced settings
3. select gameusersettings.ini
4. scroll down to [ServerSettings]
5. add a new line under [ServerSettings] and put "ActiveMods=" followed by the mod ID's of all the mod's your server is using (in the same line as "ActiveMods=" and only separated by a "," comma)
6. save the changes (your server has to be stopped to be able to save changes there)
7. start the server and enjoy

I'm now having this issue on Gen 2. I've added the ActiveMods thing but still having the issue. The Driftwood OCD Storage works fine but Fridge/Freeze and Veggie Crates just do not work. The console keep taking the items back out.

Same here, it didn't work for our server. We can't even get the console to pull the items out of the crop plots to start with. I was really hoping adding the mods under active mods would work, and we have checked them several times to make sure that they are not duplicated or anything else that may cause issues.

I just solved the problem by digging their discord channel. It turns out that there's another config we need to setup. In GameUserSettings.ini, add the header [ArkAutomatedSettings], and add whatever extension you installed under and set the value to true. For example, if you installed the kitchen extension to use freezers, then add the line KitchenModActive=True. It will look like this:
[ArkAutomatedSettings]
KitchenModActive=True

any other extensions work the same way. Hope it helps!

None of the recommendations on this post worked to resolve the issue. It must have to do the latest ARK update.
