I was trying to find the config setting that allows it, however the AA generator counts as a Tek Generator, and tek generators don't work on the platform saddle, that's just base ark. I haven't found a work around yet, please let me know if you do.

Well i know that people from Super Structure mod figured out how to make the Tek Gen work on a saddle . Would it be possible to be done on these items ?

It depends if the modder had a workaround that you can add in their config line. The new AA has so little information on it, and the mod creator doesn't check discussions at all and has you jump onto his discord (where there is personal family and other crap littering it) to ask questions. If you want you can try that, link is on the main page of this mod, but honestly i'm pretty sure this is becoming abandoned. He won't allow for increased trough range, he doesn't personally help anyone. Have had him as a steam friend for years and even ignored my questions on the mod. I'd like to know how they got the tek gen to work (from s+). Do you have a vid, or link you can share so i can adjust my servers for it as well.

i didnt change anything just put it down and it worked.

Figured out a fix for the Generator and Forge

Add to your GameUserSettings.ini file, in the Saved/Config folder, under the [Server Settings] section:
OverrideStructurePlatformPrevention=True

np bud, vacuums still won't work on a saddle, but the gen and forge will bud.

yea that is pretty awesome important part was the forge and gen. did you get the SS tek gen to work?

I don't use SS, i use s+, but the wireless generator from AA, is a tek generator, so it should work in place of SS

The Tek gen on saddle issue was about shields on quetzels. Basically you could put a shield generator on a quetzel, set it to the maximum radius and just fly it into someone elses base and cause chaos (Ejecting all their dinosaurs out the pen, causing people to be trapped against walls inside bases and with ZERO countermeasures).

Shame, it was great for PVE (Just set up an invunerable Quetz, park it next to a giga and fire away from the safety of your shields)
