Clicking on RCI viewable layer on top left corner crashes game (LUA error?)
Hey, all the other ones work in that dropdown menu (called Data Layers) with different ways to see layers on how traffics is flowing or which streets are busy or what the emission levels are.

But the RCI button ( see this picture that clarifies which one it is, my mouse-pointer is near it)

clicking on that one CTDs and gives the following message (check the image):

Nvm this problem is fixed.

It seems I had the mods:
Town Building Filter (Era)
Town Building Filter (level)

that was then incompatible with this mod.

Upon disabling those the button works.

Hello Wake, I will check this, and see if the cause of the crash is with Senseless, and if I can avoid it when combined with both mods you mentioned. Thank you for the reporting. I'll let you know about the results of the finds.

Hello again, I have investigated and done some testing, but that specific crash is not at all related to Senseless.

Any game that started many months ago have this problem when you add a "Town Building Filter"-mod you mentioned. Recently started games do not. And the problem is also without Senseless loaded.

So, I can't do anything to avoid this crash. It's inside one of both mods in combination with older games, started let's say december, januari.... februari. (That are the games I tested)

I hope the developer of the "Town Building Filter"-mods is able to fix the problem. Otherwise, only use his/her mods with recent games. ;)

Hey - yeah I found the error and disabled the mod in question and it all works fine :)

While I do have your attention, when the game switches era (lets say go from 1850 into 1900 into the petroleum era) - will the game place down new industries or will I have to add industries on my own for every era-shift?

I'm not playing on any downloaded map but a custom generated one by the game if that helps and your mod was ofc enabled since the start.

Too bad, but there is no way with mods to scan the terrain and infrastructure to know where the placement of new plants would be best or possible. And just plop them down in a random spot would lead to much frustration and hilarity.

So, you have the freedom to place the new industries where you prefer. And you'll see that the freedom of choice is less easy than it seems. Too close, no benefice. Too far, no throughput. I prefer to place them at logical locations... role-playing a little. ;)
