i mean i guess there's settlers in case your a really big fan of early industrial for some reason and i think pirates have some industrial stuff but yeah we should really get some work on higher tier industrial

yeah i had kinda forgot about settlers ngl when making this post but we for sure need a higher tier industrial vfe

Might I throw in the idea of "Industrialists"? It's basically just a higher tier settler, but with the idea that if you have VFE-Mechanoids they sell factory bits and bobs, possibly their bases have factories as well.

Maybe having a whole invention race thing like in VFE-Classical with the senate seats.

Yeah man, i loved the senator system from vfe classical and basically them having factories and stuff would be great.
how about a faction about mole people or something similar and a water based faction would be cool too both give chances to add cool new tech races and map/base designs

A faction for pacifists (no violence). pure scientists, scholars, archaeologists, explorers, diplomats. benign psycasters. I dunno how mods will do this but this faction will have to find ways to not fight raids of all kinds.
"Imperialists expanded"
Civ 4 colonization has by default the English, the french, and the Spanish... The English seek to replace the natives with their own more often than mutually benefiting... The French have bonuses to integrating the natives into their own... The Spaniards receive bonuses for outright conquering the natives.
EU4 has 3 policy settings for how your colonizing nation interacts with the locals... A faction specializing in each role based off the colonial imperial powers would fit.
The time period is big so maybe... HOI4 based nations.... Capitalist, communist, and authoritarian. The Capitalist would likely seek peaceful trade... The communist might seek one sided trade or be the "rough" faction, you'd have to prove yourself to big daddy Stalin... While the Authoritarian would be the outright hostile faction with forced Supremacist meme. These could each be based on one of the more popular nations from each group. Ie... Russian Communists and German or Italian Authoritarians.
Just some rough ideas.

having a vanilla "faction relations" expanded would go above and beyond in increasing the scope of the game.,such an expansion should and would include:
1.options for your colony/empires approach to other factions,I.E. hate them, isolationist, love them, more communication than just going and trading and the occasional quest.
2.would include the making of custom factions for a more diverse game experience,as well as more memes that detail differing views towards factions
3. would include having different colonists have different viewpoints towards various factions,I.E. if one guy hates a particular faction and the rest don't he could potentially have a mental breakdown and/or mood debuffs if one colonist from the faction he hates joins up,or if the faction members hang around to long.
hope you take this under consideration, thanks for reading!
I definitely feel like faction relations should get an overhaul. An industrial faction would be cool, too. Possibly a patch to allow your enemies to use vehicles? Like outlanders or pirates pulling up with early to mid tier vehicles, and the empire using tier 3 (Or 4 if they make it) vehicles like the mobile artillery or tank. You should be able to capture them at any level of tech, but only repair and use them effectively if you have the corresponding research.
A faction based more on a modern to ww2 era military for industrial could be cool
Something to bridge the gap between standard Industrial and Settlers is a good idea to me. My pitch is "Vanilla Factions Expanded - Colonizers".

1. It hits that perfect technological point after wagons and cowboys, but before we really got started with electricity.
2. The entire theme could synergize with outposts, faction interaction, and trade, as the entire idea would be handling tradelines.
3. You'd have to fight both literal wars and trade wars as factions will be incentivized to visit mercantile enemies rather then you, not because they don't like you, but because the other guy has better wares.
a faction expanded i wish they added for anomaly is "the foundation"

im my head it would be like a second fallen empire, doin stuff to contain or kill entities will make them happier with you, and more likely for them to help you in case of anomaly attacks, doin your own study is neutral to bad for rep, but buying anomaly related stuff, selling anomaly related stuff to anyone other tham they, making ghouls, and doin the occult cult stuff will get you on their bad side
Id like to see a civil war expansion. With muskets and black powdered cannons. It could also be a revolutionary faction too, something with their own uniforms and backstory. Ive been dying to find a mod that allows that but i have yet to find one. Id love if the VE team could do it
