Load Order Uncertainty
I'm a bit confused by the load order advised.

On the Collection page, it is advised to have load order as listed on the collection page, but when going into the mods in game, Royalty Patches is in Red and saying it should be before Furniture.

Should it be before Furniture as game advises, or as listed on the Collections page as you have advised?

Also would it be possible to get a load order list file for use with 'Mod Manager' & 'RimPly'?
I appreciate all the work you guys put into this collection, but it would be more efficient if you guys added a load order list, otherwise everyone who uses the collection will have to sort the list when in game or using a mod manager.

Thanks for your time in reading and hope you can reply.

A load order would be great, the mechanoid mod gives me naught but constant red errors, even if all other mods minus vanilla expanded + harmony are enabled while following their "modlist" in the pack.

I agree, it would be helpful to find out where the royalty patch needs to go.

the link here is for rimworld of magic but the tips in the article are pretty much for all mods list https://rwom.fandom.com/wiki/Mod_Order_Guide

Hey I'm reviving the topic since it fits and we don't need too many topics...

I have the mod order guide open and it states that vanilla expanded mods need special treatment.

Does that mean they should be in a blob at the top close to the core game or should I ignore that and sort them apropriate to the order guide?

Clumping them seems to work fine. I have them start where it says to place the frameworks.

I believe the faulty mod order isn't even the modder's fault.
I've been biting my teeth off trying to put my collection in order.
It just ignores some changes and leaves the mods somewhere you don't want them, no matter how often you try and change the order.

Not sure if you already use it or not but Mod Manager by Fluffy is very helpful for mod management and organisation.

Ya I dont believe the mod load order suggested in the description is correct. Seems chronological by release date for the most part. Also for example in the description on the Medieval Expanded mod it says this, "Sometimes medieval siege will use field artillery. Please make sure VFE-Security is loaded after Medieval mod." But in the description on this page it has Security loaded first. What I usually do is go to Samuel Streamer's steam page and see what load order he has his mods in. He runs his playthroughs with an insane amount of mods and they usually work well so I think he knows what hes doing. Best of luck boys.

Similarly I get red flags when trying to put the framework before Vanilla Backgrounds Expanded. Since the framework isn't actually a VBE prereq I'm inclined to believe the manager

from my days of skyrim modding it is mainly parent goes first then child, so if you want to look at this as a family tree. Example would be forgive my spelling,
Harmony is the great grand family,
then you have rimworld expanded framwork that the grand family
then you have rim world expanded as the parents
from there it kids and grandkids
so any mod that adds clothing would go here
or power etc

Read the description if you see anything that looks like framework in the discription it goes first then mods that add say clothing.

So to recap:

harmony
rimworld expanded framework
then the actually modpack as the parent
then the mods in the pack as the child

this will also be the rule as i mentioned for mods think oldest child first in reguards to load order might have to work on that some more but i hope that helps
