So with my ~140 modlist, there's unsurprisingly a modconflict. Only seems to be with weapons and clothing though (I see the micro option for things like stone chunks).

Any input on how this goes about making the options, and thus how I might track down the conflict?

It searches for recipes that have ingredients with stacklimit less than 2 and it's only ingredient required. It makes a designation based on that recipe. Then it searches for all recipe users (workstations) and workgivers that give a job to work on that recipe user, makes a special copy of if that uses a scanner instead of work station (it scans for designations). There is also a requirement of "recipe user existing on a map), so in order to destroy apparel you need something that does the job on the map present.
I think I should tweak the last part to be more informative.

@xChibi Thanks, I'll check it later today!

Avil, thanks for the info! Based on how clean this process looks, my guess is that the recycle and mending mods do something weird that doesn't get picked up by this system. Still neat though! Thanks for it!

I'll check those and see if it can be helped.

In that case, one of the mods is Simple Recycling.

I also use a sort of beta, non-steam version of Mend and Recycle as well (repairs weapons and clothing using resources specific to that weapon or clothing). But just like the author of Mend and Recycle, I put Simple Recycling later in the mod order to override the recycle system being used.

Tested with mod mend and recycle and simple recycle (with both on). Dono' if it's just I redone something in a code, or I couldn't reproduce a problem, but I can see "cremate" designation for apparel. If you still get a problem, you can share a save with me so I could check it.

You're suppose to be able to recycle apparel into materials, and repair apparel / weapons. The cremate option is not from the mend and recycle mods.

Oh, so you mean MODED IN options aren't avilable? Not that designations just don't show up?
brightsideguy Oct 5, 2019 @ 12:32pm
Yes, sorry. By those mods doing "something weird that doesn't get picked up by this system" I mean their modded in options are available. Modded in options that are placed in the tailoring bench and their mod-made mending bench

Okay, problem with mending is a bit more complex than anticipated at first.
I'm seeing multiple modded-in options available on my game.

If it's mend&recycle, should be removed now. I've pushed one version and probably forgot to call it back.
I thought it will be enough to teach my mod, how to identify designations, made by mend&recycle, but it's actually not enough. Mod maker made some overly specific changes to his mod that make it impossible to use generalization. So basically it requires quite specific compatibility modifications, that I don't quite have enough time for right now.

Yea, like I said, I figured they must have done something weird, based on how clean your setup sounded. Thanks anyways!
