No green highlight on OSX?

Yes, I get this same issue. Playing around with the halo render variables didn't help at all.

I just got a new PC so I will test if it shows highlights there. I probably won't be using my Mac anymore but I will leave this here incase OSX users are having the same problem.

I have also noticed that the problem is intermittent. Even on the same server, sometimes it shows and sometimes it doesn't.
