Game crashes on 21st of each month
To summarize, my game Crashes on 21st of each month, previously it crashed on 14th february 1414, but I was able to get past it, by saving the game a day before and playing at the slowest rate. Then there was another crash on 21st February 1414, and looking for solution I turned to Reddit. There were multiple possible ways of dealing with it. Skipping the date by console, switching countries, turning off AI. The only thing that keeps the game running is turning AI off, but the game with AI not doing completely anything is not going to be quite fun, and I lack will to look every 10 seconds, to turn off AI and prevent a crash. Any help will be welcome. Playing as Empire of the Romans, and winning a war against a Venice, is what I do currently. If more information is needed, do ask.

My game crashed on 21 of january 1421 every time. (I have not played a second game maybe the saved game is corrupted somehow)

I made it to Jan 21 1416. Seems like there is some new year calculations that makes it crash. Weirdly enough music and sound effects continue fine while the screen crashes.

I get the same crash but my date of choice is July 16 1418, if I use console to skip then it occurs Aug 16 1418 and so on..

I'm played two games and both games crashed on 28 number.First-on August 1416,second-on January 1417.I think,this problem occurs due to crash on calculating stats or army country X.Another reason I see in version 2.51,more exactly,reason crashed on that version,deal country Y with country AAA.(Sorry for my english,I'm bad knows it)

Happens me too: I tried to solve (partially) by saving manually every six months, but it doesn't always work.
There are problems with uploading saved files also...

Mine only crashes after a few years, the least I was able to do was postpone it for 3-6 more years after reinstalling everything.

This happens to me on different days and years, but all ranging from 1416 - 1419. I have played as Leinster and Brandenburg multiple times, and it happens every single time, without fail. Please, for the love of God, find out what this problem is so we can enjoy the game in peace. It's an incredible mod, but this crash makes it absolutely impossible to enjoy the game as it should be.

Side note: I tried to play 1.28 with mod 2.51 instead, and it crashes on start-up once I select the country and press Play. I have tried to clean uninstall for all of these problems, with no solution in sight.

Unlike mod continues to crash every September 29 ... too frustrating to play so!
Saved uploads don't work, unless you load older ones...

I read on the Paradox forums and reddit that you need to own Dharma to fix this issue, for whatever reason it affects natives.

Also, playing as the Byzantines I don't have a specific monarchy gov type, just "Monarchy". Is this also related to not owning Dharma?

I lack Mandate of Heaven, Dharma, Rule Britannia, and Golden Century.

Pure BS honestly. Haven't played this game in years, came back to enjoy this mod and sad to see serious bugs ruining this amazing mod. Prolly gonna wait till 3.0 drops :/

It doesn't seem to come from not/having dlcs to me at least, I have all the dlcs but I still have this issue, although i've noticed that there are certain nations that always crash and some that don't and others that crash later

Same problem, 1424.2.16. Because I set a ironman save. now I don't now how to deal wtth it
