Here are the instructions, it looks like a few steps but it only takes a second or two.

1. Go to Wherever your kenshi install is

Mine looks like this;
steamapps> common > Kenshi > Data > Icons
(This folder holds all the games non UI icons)

2. Search "5229"
(All the icons with 5229X are game generated meitou icons)

3. Highlight all 5229s and delete .

(This is completely safe, as the game generates the icons based on the texture for these weapons, and will just regenerate them with the new textures, so if you do uninstall my mod and want them to go back to vanilla, just do this again).
