Ship frozen on my launch pad
So basically I tried to launch a ship at a map I have already generated (I have other colonists on). I clicked to launch it there and pressed "zoom in to designate a landing spot" and selected a spot. The issue was that the ship started to launch but just froze on on it's launch pad.

It doesn't appear in the world map but it considers my pawn inside of it to be in the ship and the ship to not be selectable. I really don't want to lose this pawn, is there any way I can break the sequence and get my pawn back?

In fact the issue seems tied to visiting a spot that your pawns are already at. Because I tried to just select "visit" on another map and that one did the same thing.

I've also tested it with other ships. The first attempt was with 2 superpods. The second was with the skip.

The Mk3 and 4 worked fine when I was going to an unknown map, but everything seems to break when trying to launch to a controlled map.

Update: Before you guys get too far into thinking what it may be that's messing up, the answer is my brain.

Turns out that one of the other mods I use that has wieldable objects bugs out hardcore. It ruins caravans and when you draft with that item equipped, it freezes that pawn and you lose all control over them.

The ships that worked were just the ones that had pawns loaded into it with normal gear. The ones that didn't had the custom gear. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Ghost, could you possibly share what mod and/or items are causing this issue for you? I just encountered this bug for the first time just now after like hundreds of hours using SRTS Expanded. Wondering if I am having the same issue - I just looted a faction base and grabbed a lot of exotic gear from various mods, so your issue might be mine too.

Besides that, going to try to move the mod up to the top of the order above Hugslib to see if it helps. Once my game loads up in about 12 hours I'll be able to see!

I would definitely look at the gear-related mods you have installed. Things like weapons or armor.

For me, the issue was the Gimmicks mod, but it may have also had something to do with my custom edits to it (I tried to turn the smartphone into a weapon instead of a wearable because it conflicted with other mods). Whenever a pawn with that equipped got into a ship, it bugged out the ship entirely and they also were not able to be undrafted when carrying that.

So yeah, I'd just look for what gear mods you have installed.
