Is obviously what I went thorugh. Game starts on disabling ModManager. Crashes on enabling back. Have no debug message to share, just a classic BlackHole game screen

if you would followed all steps, it should help you - the issue you have an know Steam cache bug (you have old version of the mod - which is not compatible).

Aka just delete the mod under "C:\Users\xxxxxx\Documents\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\mods\steam" and the part containing this mod in the "mods.json" one folder before. Then start the game.

Dont know why everything needs to be on discord nowadays...

This is issue with the Steam cache, not the mod - you have an outdated version of the mod.

Information about how to check the version of the mod you have in Troubleshooting section of the mod page.

Ony already said it, but I'd like to confirm: the mod is updated and working. It's Steam's file cache that's wonky. I was also stubborn, trying to fix the issue by unsubscribing and re-subscribing, but no luck.

Read the Troubleshooting section. The instructions are actually easy.

For those who cant make the Mod Manager works, just install a mod updater and it will update the Mod Manager, after that you can uninstall the mod updater. This was how ive fixed mine

She doesn't seem to understand that her solution in the info section is the one that's not working. I deleted that folder.

Thanks this fixed it! I'm now gonna use the other mod.

The thing is steam keeps sending me even the other updater mod's older versions. I will try to move my geo location maybe that will do something useful.

edit:
It seems like it solved the caching issue. (used a vpn to move my location)

Mod manager crashes the game now, mate. Revert it back, please. }:/

From Troubleshooting:

If something not working: make sure you use the last version of mod, you can check the mod last version number in change log:

And you can check which exact version of the mod you have by checking .dll version number (right-click -> Properties -> Details) inside the mod folder: \mods\Steam\1843965353\
