when you look at your mods in the game launcher, de-activate the mod and then re-activate the mod. Sometimes it looks like it is activated, but it isn't.

@SPANISH INQUISITION its a problem with the game you have to go to the eu4 folder on your pc and delete the mod folder, it should fix inself once you redownload the mod

I hope a lot of core aspects of this gets fixed later. There are a lot of solutions that feel like complete copouts that make the game more comfortable yes, but also just plain way easier.

I enjoy the core ideas and what the mod is trying to do, but the super cheap troops, consistently insane rulers and completely free conversions make it feel borderline cheaty, so I'm having a hard time convincing friends to use this mod in multiplayer.

@potatokoke, id say i partly agree with you on this. Units being cheaper, specifically infantry i think makes the game much more playable - I shouldn't have to avoid advisors, forts, and a navy, and still run a deficit just because i fill my force limit with infantry - which is the situation for most countries until mid game.
As far as the rulers and Religion are concerned, I would say that the implementation we went for is far from perfect. The way we handled those two are not ideal, however I believe that they are still significant improvements to the way things are in the base game. We are still looking for ways to deal with aspects like religion and monarchy points since they have largely been either ignored or altered into the ugly monstrosities you see in the base game.
No doubt, we will continue to look at how we can improve aspects like monarchy points and religion to make them feel less cheaty.

Hi, I know this has already been discussed, but I can't play the mod. Ive tried deleting and reinstalling the mod folder multiple times and it still doesnt work. In the best scenario, I can see it both in the launcher and in the in-game content menu but it just won't work. I also tried intstalling it with a copy taken from the mod folder itself (to be re-installed) , but it says the whole zip is corrupted T_T. Is there something I'm doing wrong here?
There is an issue with this mod and polish events. According to the wiki, inorder to get the Sejm comply/veto policies and the Royal Struggle event, you need "The Pacta Conventa and the Henrykian Articles" event to fire. In order to get that event to fire, your ruler needs to have a skill point less than 2 in one of the monarch abilities (diplo, mil, admin). Considering this mod doesn't give a ruler less than 2 skill points, the Pacta Conventa and Henrykian Articles event doesn't fire. This stops the Royal struggle event and the Sejm events.

monarchy stats are going to be changed with one of my future releases, so that will be fixed. I might have to take a closer look at that event chain though
