Potential workaround for low performance

If you're having trouble running this scenario smoothly, Alt tabbing in and out fixed it for me. Before alt tabbing: 5-10 FPS. After alt tabbing: 35-40 FPS.

What is the mechanism? is it also useful for other missions?

I don't know what caused the FPS boost. I was playing with the money set to very high so the AI spawned lots of vehicles and I started to have very bad frames. For some reason alt tabbing boosted my frames from 10 to 40 FPS, not gonna lie.
