BUG: npc will sometimes target an enemy, but not shoot - mostly flyers

It appears that Crew members use your fuel reserves when using Frackin Universe. Its not a big deal with just one crew with you, two crew however drains quite quickly.

This issue was seen and fixed in 'Mech Overhaul'
FU hasn't updated their implementation of the fuel system from there yet
Went down in space with two crewmembers from the Elithian races mod, one Avikan and one Thelean. Log shows no errors and the mod seems to work properly according to it, but the two crew mechs played the battery pick up sound multiple times a second and it's very loud.

crew not following you would be a great time to post a log
it means you have a mod that changes modularmech code, but doesnt have the bit npc mechs need
what that mod is, i have no idea.... because you didnt post the log

if you're not going to help me, how can i help you?

There's still that eardrum-blasting battery sound glitch, i don't know if it happens with vanilla races as all my crewmember followers are from modded races, and it seems to temporarily stop when they fire their weapons.
Log shows no errors

i have the same problem as hoodie
no error

npc will try and feed an energy pickup to their mech when it gets below 25% energy and is not in combat
some mod you have is affecting the mechs energy level, making it think its always below 25%

seeing what loaded mod(s) could be the cause might have helped, but  thats all the answer i can give with the information provided
dr pickle Jul 11, 2019 @ 8:30pm
the only mod i can think of is mech overhaul
the only mods i have are this
mech overhaul
quickbar mini
Improved Containers
and thats it

I have posted a patch for "Mech Overhaul" so that the npcs no longer detect less than 25% energy. This stops the soundloop.

Is this mod client-side? I'm assuming yes.
lophatkao  [developer] Jul 21, 2019 @ 5:50pm
Both FU and Mech Overhaul have been updated to fix the sound issue

@choochoo - unless specified in description, always assume a mod is server side

Alright thanks. :steamhappy:
