In my attempt to play through the Hawaii map in singleplayer, I reached the first Collalition quest, immediately followed by a softlock caused by the horde beacon not counting towards the quest (No beacon was spawned by the mission, and manually spawning one and completing it made no difference). Is there any way to bypass that mission objective?
