I noticed in the comments that every couple of months people would say this doesn't work in single player. There's also people complaining of issues, so I listed the mods I use and some other issues I've ran into below. Took me a couple hours of reading to get my game to this stage.

(Today I learned you don't actually need to select the Commander role, your best off choosing medic if you're playing solo)

I have these mods running, and the mission works fabulously.

The mods with a red star are (in my humble opinion) the requirements for the mission to run well. You need RHS, Project OPFOR and RDS Civ pack in order for the mission to function properly, else you'll be missing vehicles and NPC's, they generally won't spawn from my testing.

Ignore ace dependencies you need to have ACE3 no medical installed else your AI won't revive you when downed.

Vehicles not saving?

Vehicles in your garages will not save. You must place them within 50m of your HQ flag, then create a persistent save via the map options menu in order for the vehicles to save correctly.
