Bugs
Tell me what I broke! How can I put a smile back on that face?

If you played before 27/07/2019 and found the update messed up your existing save by dooming your Attributes, download this: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1817480800

You won't need to do anything special with it. Just subscribe and activate it after Divine War, then load your previous save from a version of DW that had Attribute Base 0. No Cheat Commander foolery necessary.

Remember, this is ONLY NECESSARY if you have an existing save that suffered bugs when the attribute base changed to 10. If you made a new save/fixed the bug with Cheat Commander, you can ignore this. Don't worry about a thing!

I get this very frustrating bug where my healing is nullified in part or full or sometimes damages instead. This also seems to happen with encourage. I'm using all of Odinblade's class overhauls so maybe it has to do with those?

pet pal infinitley spawned creatures till i crashed
as well as they didnt agro enimies but when hit by my friend they agro'd on us

Aight, so I had a long post here, but I figured out what was wrong with both things. First things first: The Talent that shares statuses causes statuses to be reflected infinitely if more than one person has it.

The Second issue was a nonstop buzzing in the attribute screen. Turns out this only happens when you have unspent points in any screen. It goes away when you spend all your points, and then returns when you have more. With the buzzing, the blue stars indicating the source of your stats would shift between the start and the crit skull at the same temp as the buzz.

Funeral Pyre acts like a perma buff and doesn't go away, even if you lose the rank 6 pyro mastery. Figuring that one out is beyond me.

Currently in the Arena in fort joy and the infinite pet pal spawn thing is happening, they don't agro the enemies and will just walk around until hit by me when they turn agro towards the player. Also with the total warfare mastery the ability seems to not be working. It pops up over my head every time I get hit and when I heal for a large chunk "almighty cleave" but nothing actually happens.
Occasionally I also get the healing issue Tomatoes is having, healing will just deal damage instead.

Other mods I have installed are Free pet pal, Lady C's level up all equipment and Sims more enemies. I can't really give much input into helping fix them but I thought I should at least bring them up.
Very much so enjoying the game mod though :)

Have you built wisdom? Long story short, there was a bug where applied statuses would heal twice if extended by wisdom. To circumvent this I made the game cut off the HP from the second heal. This means the HP bar looks like it fills up and then takes damage. Check your characters 'damaged'by healing aren't actually finishing with more vitality than they started with. And check you aren't healing Black Hearted characters. All else fails, please send me your save!

What weapon is your character holding? It has to be a staff or melee weapon.

I tried with multiple weapons. Two handed weapons, one handed and shield, two one handed and daggers. Didn't try it with a staff, though.

Oh definitely not the monitor. Basically, when I have excess points to spend in attributes, civil or abilities, and I swap over to the stat page that shows what my hp, crit and what not is, the buzzing starts, I say buzzing, but it's just insanely fast clicking, like it's trying to change something and then reverting back. I had to make a fresh character to figure out what was causing it, and it ended up being the unspent points. Also, when you hover over things, like say, dodging (on the same page you first activated the buzzing, and you see the blue stars (Blue Star: +2 from Leadership), said star is rapidly changing from the star to a yellow crit chance skull and back again at the same super fast tempo of the buzz. So dunno, simply not having points unspent seems to make it go away, so I'm not too worried. I'm also using a controller if that helps, so when I swap to the page, I'm actually moving to the page, rather than just hovering with a cursor.

Regarding the pet pal problems, I don't have the free pet pal mod like they seem to have and the pet pal spawns seem to work for me just fine. They do get angry if I dmg them, but they attack targets as intended and don't spawn infinitely.

Also, poison on the ground seems to deal both poison dmg AND physical dmg now to undead? Like, Fane will heal for 20 hp in a poison spot or cloud, but also take around 60% of that heal as dmg (it's an actual physical dmg number that pops up), not sure if that's intended as poison potions are basically worthless for healing now. If you play undead with this mod, it's life steal or die, since poison healing was gimped into the floor.

Oh damn it. I didn't even think to test with a controller. I still have no idea what could be causing that though. Sorry, don't expect a fix on that particular issue soon.

If it makes you feel any better, you hands down made the best mod this game has, and the bugs I've found are relatively minor and easy to fix so far and are far overshadowed by all the things that do work, which is most of it. Pretty damn good for an initial release considering the size of it. And also, who doesn't already run life steel on their undead as it is, eh? lol

Yeah I can chuck you the save file, unfortunately though it's not at the same point as the previous comment. I didn't really think about keeping it separate for you. You can probably try replicating it by fighting in the arena? I'm not too sure.

How would you like me to give you the save?

Also I realised I should probably have said this earlier but it was mostly triggering off my friends medusa head AOE petrify. He rushed 6 poly for the permanent transformations and it only seemed to trigger on that. But once it started it just kept going.

The almighty cleave wasn't doing anything when I was getting hit.
