Soldier to NPC? Recrut Bandit lords
I want to know if it's actually doable in the current version (like written on main page) and if yes how exactly do you do it.

Second i've upped my renown with bandit to the cap (100) by releasing them but if i ask anything else they flee and i gain "Bandit fear" and a -relation with the bandit, does anyone know how what are the necessary set up to make one join your team?

Is your Prison Camp at level 3? If I remember right that's also required (along with the renown value and maybe relation) before you can ask to them to join you.

I did have a lvl 3 prison camp, probably just the bandit relationship that need to be higher, but damn in the current system it's quite the farm, then again some bandit are incredibly op (Arrow accross the cloud anyone? :p)

i dont think its possible. one complaint from the guy in liangshan is why cant we capture bandit lords. so even the creator has acknowledged that it isnt possible

Soldier to NPC is possible. If we use a certain troop very often,after gaining enough experience, a solider will show up and ask for promotion, Can be just a simple promotion or A new NPC that have a name and can change his/her abilities and equipment

After building the special tent and assign a NPC to the right post, increase the chance to the promotion.

Some of the NPC cannot recruit, only if the relationship with THAT bandit is high enough. Need to release him/her a few times, I only do it once for testing long ago.
