Way to turn cheats on?
I want to start of by saying that I love this mod, I've put a lot of hours into it already and I've found that some of the mind reading battles are just impossible, ow would take 900 retry's in order to get good rng. Is there a way to stop cheating from dealing damage to yourself?

You can use the Slow-mo feature of the game Ctrl + F9 (wich is not a cheat) and it really helps to block atacks and sneak in those hits. Makes the battles a lot easier but still a bit hard (still get killed in 1 hit for any mistake most of the time)

If you want to cheat, just open your character tab and raise the level of the lord you're playing as and buy maxed power strike and iron flesh.

This will permanently increase the strength of the real lord, but it'll let you win the fight.

I don't think that affects the current fight. I have distributed my points mid battle but it never seems to change anything untill the next battle.

You should NEVER raise your own character's attributes during a battle, especially when you're "on fire." If you do so, your attribute points will be lost forever as soon as the fight ends.

As far as using level up cheats during mind reading quests, that does work. You can give the character a few dozen levels and then gain +12 agility or whatever and pump up weapon skills.

Ahh. I never noticed any difference. Although I never tried in the quests in this mod though.

You can press C when the battle starts, then EXPORT the character, go to documents > warband > character, and open the txt file with the dude's name you are controling, then give him 999 speed, then go back to the game, export the dude, and proceed with the fight. Just remember to change the 999 speed back to normal just after you kill the last enemy and IMPORT xD. That way you wont have sonics npc all over the game :)

(you can give 999 strenght to one hit ppl also xD but its funny with just the speed)
