sorry but im done
how freaking hard does the start of the game have to be, seriously, im sorry but when i spec 5 points in to iron flesh and have semi decent armor i dont expect to get 1 hit by a rock getting thrown at me, i tried 6 different characters and i just could not get a decent start so im done playing this, its not "HARD" its just complete "BS". Like how are you going to tell me that a thrown rock is going to deal more damage than an axe hit to the torso........ what a joke, thought this looked cool but tbh it just make me want to break my monitor.

I play on easiest and it can be very challenging. However on my current game I have like 30 NPC companions with my own town. It takes a grind to grab titles, legendaries, ect then it gets much easier.

yeah i understand that, but when i have to restart my playthrough 8 times because sea raiders and other bandits are stupidly op and their map speed, no matter how many horses i have can still catch up to me, its just not worth the frustration,

I can literally spend 1 hour farming up a group of 30- 40 men and loose them all to a random sea raider encounter that contains something stupid like 1 named, 6 officers and a bunch of raiders that in their own right are stupidly OP.

You don't have to farm anything. The way to win at this mod is to immediately go join a faction, then progress the main quest until you can take on mind reading quests. They offer incredible rewards.

5 iron flesh isn't actually that much in this mod, considering it goes up to 15. If you want to take less damage, you can lower the difficulty. The damage of everything is scaled up very high because you'll be able to get armor that has 60+ defense later on.

Being in a faction gives you an official, which gives you weekly cash and renown rewards. You also have the privilege of being able to hire a party that follows you around and you can give it men. You ALSO can pay 1000 cash to one of your companions to turn him into a "general" which basically makes them into a lord who always follows your commands. This'll let you load them up with hundreds of troops so you don't have to worry about party limits.

There's 21 companions in taverns, with some of them spawning after day 94. The heroes in this mod can also go "on fire" when they get enough kills, making them obscenely strong.

Once you have a bunch of heroes, you'll never have any issues with bandits, with the exception of the Dajin. But joining a faction also has that faction fight the Dajin troops.

There's lots of ways to become sickeningly powerful in this mod and I hope you continue to give it a try.

As Ienjoygames mentioned, the reason everything is so scaled up, is because you can be super scaled up too. End game when you own your own faction, you can be running around with an army of 500+ units, plus 3 followers that can be scaled infinitely assuming you have the income to take care of them all. Plus you yourself can house any number of lords you wish to take the hit to recruit into your personal army. And, on top of it all. Your 60+ armor gear also gives you stats that can help you out too, like +5 strength, +3 Ironflesh, and what not. In the end though, if you set them on the easiest difficulty, you can quite easily conquer the entire game. No problem whatsoever, just castle/city hop because the small amount of units you lose will be replaced by that cities prisoners. Lol.

Maybe mount and blade just isn't your game to begin with. Maybe try something easier that lets you be a god and just kill hordes of enemies like Dynasty Warriors or something.

I have over 1000 hours over pc and xbox on m&b, I know when something is just complete b.s. in its difficulty. Also just an fyi you have clearly only played dynasty warriors on easy to have an opinion like that, you should ramp up your difficulty of you find it too easy buddy

u just need a long spear a long swinging weapon and a horse to clear most of them. u know mount and blade i easy easy mode no matter the difficulty. but this mod is insane mode from start... and actually just the start is insane mode. in mid game it become average at best, but there is some champion that is still under the category god like ... one swing from them = one npc companion down only choice is u down it with ur spear and horse b4 it did much damage
